People from all over the country come to the Smoky Mountains to take advantage of the shopping bargains that can be found in the Smoky Mountains. Shopping has replaced crafts as the second biggest reason families come to the Smokies on vacation; with The Great Smoky Mountains National Park still holding the number one spot. No matter what your shopping needs may be, shopping malls, discount shops, country craft shops, and factory outlet stores are plentiful in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville.

In Pigeon Forge and Sevierville, shopping is not just a spectator sport, or something you do when it rains! Believe it or not, there are tens of thousands of people who come from all over solely to take advantage of the incredible values offered in our area. In Pigeon Forge alone, there are five manufacturer's outlet malls (and more on the way), featuring famous brands like Sony, Nike, Hush Puppy, Black & Decker, J.Crew, Naturalizer, Reebok, London Fog, Anne Klein, Westpoint Stevens, and Coach. These are but a few of the many national brand stores offering significant discounts.

Besides the outlet malls, there are large antique malls as well as quaint little antique shops, dozens of country craft shops (and an entire district devoted to them in Gatlinburg, wherein the shopkeeper is usually also the crafter), art galleries, and literally hundreds of specialty shops offering items you'd be hard-pressed to find elsewhere. You can take the Glades "crafts loop" in the Great Smoky Mountains Arts & Crafts Community to find special gifts or the treasure you've always wanted. The variety can't be beat, and the outlet bargains will make you hope you drove a truck or van to your visit to the Smokies! Of course, you'll enjoy relaxing those tired feet in your chalet or cabin's hot tub or Jacuzzi.
