About "The Robin's Nest TR#1" Gatlinburg Authentic Log Cabin

Robin’s Nest is an authentic log cabin that is utterly suited to a true Smoky Mountain getaway. As you turn into the drive you are greeted with a split rail fence, the red roof of this quaint cabin and a perfectly placed evergreen. The whole picture feels very “Norman Rockwell” and you know you are going to enjoy this vacation.

You enter into the kitchen and you will first notice the cabinetry and appreciate the ample counter space of this eat-in kitchen. The doorway ahead leads you to the laundry and the first full bath. Stepping to the deck you find a glimmering Hot Tub, a picnic table and a gas grill.

The living room is situated adjacent to the kitchen. There is generous seating in front of the wood-burning stone fireplace which includes a sofa and a loveseat. There is a flat screen TV and this home also offers free Wi-Fi and long distance for guests. Another loveseat provides a relaxing place to read one of the many books the owners have left for you. There is also a table for a game of cards.

The back porch is screened in so you can make full use of it day or evening. A table with wicker chairs is a welcoming place for time with friends and the wicker love seat provides a cozy corner to take in the sounds of nature.

Upstairs are the two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed and a fireplace, while the second has a queen. The full bath is shared by both. When searching for a Gatlinburg retreat, The Robin’s Nest is the perfect place to perch!

Weekend Getaway

by from Munfordville, KY

We loved staying in The Robin's Nest for our weekend getaway! Couldn't have asked for a more perfect cute cabin that makes you feel as if you're at home away from home.

First Time Renter!

by from Suamico , WI

Amazing!!! As a first time renter, I must say, the thought of renting a cabin on line made me quite nervous! That feeling that you never really know what you're getting into till you get there, really starts playing out in your head! But I must say, boy was I blown away by The Robin's Nest, it was exactly like the pictures, and more! After a 12 hour drive that hot tub was the perfect place to unwind! Make sure you follow the directions they send you , the roads are like nothing I have ever seen before! My only two small complaints are, the screen doors were beyond squeaky, I felt like I was disturbing any cabin around me when I went outside, and the second, I didn't stay longer!!!

Great weekend and stay at this cabin

by from Grove Hill, AL

Everything was wonderful and would stay again at this cabin.

Secluded Relaxation

by from Owensboro, KY

The Robin's Nest cabin is a wonderful cabin for secluded relaxation. It is roomy and comfortable with plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy--the back deck with gas grill & hot tub, the side screened in porch for morning coffee or an evening drink to unwind, and the front porch just to sit, relax, and enjoy the surrounding nature. We did have a problem with the hot tub as it stopped working on the second night and thankfully Mountain Rentals staff responded promptly to fix it. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this cabin and have repeatedly used Mountain Rentals for out cabin rental needs--this is out sixth rental and the fifth different cabin we have visited. We always find new and enjoyable things to see and do. Nature is definitely the best therapy! All our stays with Mountain Rentals and visits to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge have been GREAT!!! We intend to keep coming back!

We loved the decor in our cabin. Loved that it had 3 porches, the hot tub, and an over all welcoming feel. The online pictures were accurate. The cabin was very clean and we are ready to go back!

Weekend Escape

by from Huntsville, AL

We love to rent a cabin in Gatlingburg for a weekend escape every year or so. We always enjoy the cabins we find at Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg. The most recent rental (# 219619) did not have as much privacy as we would have liked, but the rustic cabin vibe was pleasant. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace as well, despite having to call to request firewood a couple of times. It would have been nice if the hot tub was under a roof because it rained while we were there. The kitchen cookware was a bit lacking, but other amenities, like the quilts, were a really nice touch.

We had a Great stay at the Cabin. A Good place to unwind. We stayed 3 nights. Picked on day to drive thru Cades Cove and Take the Arts and Crafts Community Loop and eat out for supper. Me and my wife love to cook. The rest of our stay we roasted hotdogs and marshmellows in the fireplace, chicken and Creek Potatoes on the grill.Read a few books, watched a few good movies. And mostly set on the screened in side porch and relaxed. Rest and romance!!!! Thank you again, we had a wonderful time and memories made.
