Cajun Spice Cabin

by from Port St. Lucie, FL

There were two couples staying here and it was fabulous! The place was spotlessly clean and the view of the mountains was spectacular. The hot tub was a perfect way to end every evening. Would stay here again next time in the area. It was perfect.

great weekend getaway

by from lyman, SC

we enjoyed our stay and will be back sometime! would love to do this each spring or fall! the kids enjoyed the hot tub as much as the adults did, and we all had a relaxing time. loved the air hockey table, we arent into pool tables so the air hockey was wonderful for family time :)

Fall weekend get-away

by from Lebanon, TN

We arrived at Cajun Spice cabin to find a beautiful view and a wonderful cabin. We loved the large kitchen and cooked most of our meals. The stairs leading down to the stream below are very steep and not for the faint of heart but it was very nice to have our own little mountain stream to sit and relax by. The grill, hot tub and swings on the deck made enjoying the view even better. We saw several turkies and squirrles during our stay. The cabin was very quiet and somewhat remote which we loved, however if you are someone who is attached to your cell phone this may not be your cabin. Cell service was hit and miss in the cabin but the WiFi worked well. The only thing we would suggest is some type of curtain or blinds on the downstairs bedroom windows. We really enjoyed our trip and would stay here again.

Cajun Spice Weekend

by from Hamilton, OH, OH

We enjoyed our stay at Cajun Spice. The back of the cabin was remote and had great views of the mountains. The cabin had plenty of room and the nice big deck out back made it seem even larger. Our son also enjoyed wrestling the giant gator out front of the cabin! Only complaint we have is it would be nice to have blinds on the windows in the loft since it faces the road. We would recommend this cabin.

I am glad you all enjoyed your stay at Cajun Spice! Thank you for taking the time and giving us your feedback! Thanks, Brooklyn

Great Anniversary

by from Evergreen, AL

This cabin is absolutely fabulous! It has plenty space, and spectacular views of the mountains from every room. It is very well decorated. It has beautiful deck across its entire back, with a hot tub, grill, table and swing all of which present awesome views of the mountains. The cabin has a stream flowing in the woods below which produces soothing sounds of running water and ads to the enjoyment of sitting on the back deck. It sits just off of the road which makes entering and exiting the property very easy. It is also very private. My wife and I have been married 20 years and could not have picked and more perfect cabin to celebrate in!

24th Wedding Anniversary

by from Larose, LA

We drove into Gatlinburg knowing we wanted a cabin, but had not made reservations as this was a spur of the moment vacation. We went to a Nascar race @ Kentucky Speedway & decided on Gatlinburg on our way home. We stopped @ Tenn. welcome center & picked up brochures on cabins & Mountain Rentals caught our eye!! We called & they had "Cajun Spice" available. Being from Louisiana we knew it had to be special. Cajun Spice exceeded our expectations!! The views of the mountains when you opened your eyes in the morning was spectacular!! The jacuzzi view was pretty awesome too!! The private deck down the mountain by the creek was sooo relaxing. The cabin was spotless, roomy, and very comfortable. The parking was excellent also. Thank you Mountain Rentals for providing us a wonderful place to stay and enjoy July 4th and July 5th (Our 24th Wedding Anniversary). A wonderful vacation place!!!!!!!!!!

The Great Holiday Escape (Melbourne, Fl) 1/5/11

by from Melbourne, FL

We loved the Cajun Spice, the kids enjoyed the decor and made our Christmas so special. We loved how we felt secluded but could still see other cabins near. It felt like home and and spacious and the pathway to the creek was great for the kids. There will be no hesitation that we will stay here again and making reservations and getting everything set up was as easy as 1,2,3. I highly recommend this cabin for families. great location!!!!!

Winter Getaway at Cajun Spice

by from Orlando, FL

Our family loved this rental home and appreciated the beautiful Christmas tree and decorations! The home was so spacious and the kids loved all of the space to run around and play outside. We enjoyed the view, the porch, the furnishings and the game table! This cabin felt so private, but yet close to everything we needed. It was the perfect winter vacation!

November 2009

by from Acworth, GA

Cajun Spice is a beautiful cabin and it's very obvious that the owners have put a great deal of effort into making this cabin comfortable for it's guests. However, during our stay the cabin had a Ladybug infestation and we found several Cockroaches (dead and barely alive). We even had one hitch a ride back in one of our bags. The hot tub was set on 102 degrees and you were not able to adjust the temperature, so when you took the cover off and with the cold outside the temp dropped to 98.8 degrees and felt more like a warm bath.

Response from Management

I do apologize that you found bugs in the home. Unfortunately, the insects have been worse than usual due to the rain we have had this year. I assure you all of our homes are treated monthly by pest control and I have requested an additional treatment for this home. The ladybugs are just part of the area, the National Park released them because they actually kill bugs that destroy trees in the park. The Hot Tub does not have a temp. control, to prevent the tub from tripping the high-limit feature, which shuts the tub down for safety. All hot tubs will lose heat in cold weather, the blowers actually draw air from outside the tub to circulate water. I hope you enjoyed your stay at Cajun Spice and we look forward to serving your family in the future.

Cajun Spice

by from Vincennes, IN

One of the best views in all the years that we have been coming to Gatlinburg - 15 years. Disappointed that we couldn't use master bedroom nor bath - locked! Upstairs bath too small and downstairs bedroom had to go thru other rooms to get to bathroom! Otherwise, nice place.
