Spring Stay

by from Gulf Breeze, FL

Great views of the mountains. Only complaints were we thought there was an outdoor hot tub and there was not and there was no internet access. Did have a large inside Jacuzzi tub though. Had a nice time.

Response from Management

Thank for your review. There are many properties that are available in this area with hot tubs, but Oak View does not have one. You can use our filter on the website to search for hot tubs and desired amenities or you can always call our reservation staff. Thanks again and we hope to see you soon!

Excellent Cabin!!

by from San Antonio, TX

The cabin was very spacious and tidy! My husband and I slept in one bedroom, while my kids slept in the other. The billiards table, the jacuzzi and the TV provided much entertainment. The deck had a great view of the beautiful Smoky Mountains. The only minor problem was that, although this location did have great cell phone signal, it didn't have any WI-FI! Overall, this cabin was a GREAT place to call home for a few days; thank-you, Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg! :)

Response from Management

I am glad you and your family enjoyed staying with us! We hope to see you all again in the future! Thanks, Brooklyn

Our Stay at the Oak View Room

by from milford , CT

Beautiful view from the porch! Nice, cozy, clean, comfortable cabin. We had a great stay here!

Great View!!!

by from Pensacola, FL

This unit definitely has a great view. The cabin layout is very attractive. This unit is a little dated on the decor and furnishings are a little worn. Sofa and love are nice, but both bed frames are in need of attention. Table could also use some updating. The oversize jacuzzi tub was wonderful, especially since it was inside in a very large room. It was very chilly on our stay and even snowed, which was early for the year. So relaxing in the tub was great while looking out the snow covered windows. We would love to return to this unit, but it does need a little updating on some of the decor. As always we do enjoy renting with Mountains Rentals and intend to rent from them again.

Overall Good Value, But a Little Dated

by from Ringgold, GA

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin and overall it was a good value. I would stay in this cabin again; but it probably wouldn't be my first choice. The decor overall is a bit dated and feels like it was done in the 80's. But everything was clean and in working order. The jacuzzi tub in it's own room is nice. It would have been nice for the unit to have TVs in the bedrooms and internet access. Those items and updated decor would make it more likely that we would stay in this unit again.

our fall weekend

by from Alexandria, KY

We recently stayed in this cabin for the weekend in the fall. The cabin is nice, but it seriously need some updated beds and sofas. It is a nice cabin for the value but it needs to be aired out some because it has a musty spell to it upon entering it. Also they need to change the batteries in the controller for the TV because it doesn't want to work very good at all. As far as the weekend stay the stay for that weekend trip was the pits. All it did was rain and you could do any activities in town because of the rain. Although this was not under anybody controll. The stay was kind of disappoint because we didn't get to do any of the things we planned to do. The one good thing on our trip was a visit to the Applewood Barn down in Pigeon Forge, it was truely a very deliciousssssssss meal for the money.

Response from Management

We have contacted the owner regarding the beds and sofa. Maintenance has replaced the remote batteries and is checking on the musty smell you mentioned. Thank you for your review and we will take care of the problems. I hope you will stay with us again.
