About "Creekside" Gatlinburg Chalet

Located on the edge of the ski mountain resort area, this 4 bedroom home is great for those wanting a mountain setting for their vacation experience while still staying within reach of downtown Gatlinburg.

Setting just off Ski Mountain Rd., making this 2 level home easy to find. There’s plenty of deck space to go around on both levels, with a picnic table area on the lower level as well as 2 person swing and a hot tub. Stepping inside, the upper level begins with the living room and kitchen area. This area has hardwood floors throughout and is well sectioned so the spaces flow. The kitchen has bar seating for 4 and dining space for 6 and the entire floor has a warm creamy faux treatment on the walls paired with wood accents and artwork gives you an upscale cottage feel. A half bath in the kitchen area services this floor. The living room features a wood burning fireplace, sofa, loveseat and large chair with ottoman. There is a High Definition 45” Plasma TV and DVD Player as well. A small desk resides by the fireplace and you have access to high speed internet. There are also plenty of windows to allow for ample amounts of natural light. Combine this with the vaulted ceiling and you have a comfortable and capacious living environment. The home features 4 bedrooms, all on the lower floor. Two of these are smaller designs, one has a double and the other is a queen, with a 37” Flat Screens with DVD Player in each. The remaining two feature king size beds and noticeably larger floor plans. Each of these rooms have a 42” Flat Screen and a door providing outside access. Two separate full baths accommodate these rooms. The remaining bedroom is the largest of the four and features a private full bath, with Jacuzzi tub, and an additional TV. The best part however is the presence of a second wood burning fireplace, perfect for setting just the right mood. Each bedroom has its own private exit to the large decks outside, which comes with a large and private hot tub.

An exciting blend of location and features, this home is a great way to bring the beauty of the mountains right at your doorstep.

Had a great stay!! Had a great family vacation cabin was clean and everything we needed.

Birthday getaway

by from Cincinnati, OH

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating my husbands 40th birthday. We comfortably fit 7 adults and were all satisfied with our accommodations. This property was clean and had everything we needed. Being only a mile or so from downtown, it was easy to get be where all the action is if you wanted. But far away enough to have that beautiful, quiet, cabin feel. Thanks for a great weekend!

Creekside Cabin

by from Rayne, LA

This cabin was excellent. The whole process from booking the trip to the checkout was done with complete professionalism and very easy. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. THe actual cabin was comfortable and easy to find. Even though it was an older cabin, it was well kept and had all of the amenities. It was located 5 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean upon arrival. Internet worked great and had lots of channels to watch on tv. I would definitely recommend tho cabin to anyone looking for a quiet place to spend time with family.

Fun in the mountains

by from Warrior, AL

Excellent time. Convenient to downtown and Sevierville. Plenty of room for whole family.

Nice stay for the price

by from Glencoe, KY

Overall my family enjoyed our cabin. It was close to downtown Gatlinburg. Close to three clubhouses with free swimming. We were also very close to Ober Gatlinburg. The hot tub wasn't in the best shape, we could only get half of the jets to turn on. Not sure if that was operators error or if something was wrong with it. ;) Our family loved the creek and we took some beautiful family pictures by it. It was a nice cabin overall.

Vacation 2014 Creekside

by from Hillsboro, OH

Our family recently had a weeks stay in the smokies and chose the Creekside cabin as our vacation stay hub. It was so pretty there nestled in the foothills of the mountains. So close to Gatlinburg and Pigeonforge we were able to go into town daily for activities and spend the evenings together in our own cabin. It was adorable and efficient for our family. The cost effectiveness of the cabin allowed us to have "fun money" to play in the mountains!

Great location!!

Our cabin was in a very good location, just a couple blocks from downtown Gatlinburg! Very easy to find! We would stay in that same cabin again!!

Beautiful Creekside

by from Medina, TN

The chalet was beautiful and the creek was very relaxing. There are a good deal of steps getting into and out of the chalet so I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with small children or poor health. We had only adults so it was fine. It is beautifully decorated and well kept. For the money, you cannot beat it. This isn't the first time we've rented through this company and definitely won't be the last. We come to the Burg at least twice a year and they haven't disappointed yet!

wonderful Thanksgiving

by from Cincinnati, OH

We stayed here for 4 nights over Thanksgiving. We liked it so much that we already booked another cabin for next year. The only issues we had were that there are a lot of steps and a bridge to get into the place, and we had a couple of inches of snow while we were there. So it was treacherous to get our 2 small children in and out of the cabin. We think that there should be a bag of rock salt provided for this unit in the winter. The stopper in the hot tub didn't actually work and after Maintenance came out, we realized we were supposed to use this rubber flap to stop up the drain. My kids kept kicking it off, so it didn't really work well for us. But we did love the cabin. It felt very homey and we had a very nice Thanksgiving meal there. My kids loved that the Ober Gatlinburg tram went right overhead. The cabin is in a great location and very convenient to town and to the bypass.

Mountain Top Retreat

by from Metairie, LA

Loved the convenience to the town of Gatlinburg. Very spacious. Grandchildren didn't want to leave, neither did we. First time seeing the changing leaves and it was awesome. Will definitely come back.

cabin of my dreams

by from hyden, KY

The cabin and the location were excellent. Loved my time there. I truly enjoyed my stay there. Only problem I was with the cabin was that there was not enough lighting in the kitchen

by from Walla Walla, WA

The club house pool was very nice, the cabin was a little run down but OK and clean enough. Plenty of space for the money!

Loved it!!

by from Kennett, MO

We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. The only 'complaints' we had were with the stove and refrigerator. The controls on the stovetop seemed to be reversed and the lower part of the refrigerator had a lot of condensation. Nothing bad enough to be a deal breaker though. :-) Also, there are a lot of stairs going into the cabin, plus the stairs inside are steep... something to keep in mind if you have someone in your group with any sort of mobility issue. I would DEFINITELY stay here again!

Response from Management

Maintenance is checking the stove and refigerator to make sure they are in proper working order. Thank you for your review and we look forward to your next visit!

Girl's Weekend!!

by from Greensburg, IN

We found the Creekside Cabin to be very cozy and comfortable. The bedrooms are decent size with VERY comfortable beds, the fireplace in the master suite was wonderful. The upstairs decor was beautiful and recently updated - with the exception of the kitchen. The stove is ancient and really needs to be replaced. We had problems with the stove top not working and placed a service call. The maintenance man came and fixed it promptly. The fireplaces are wood burning so I would suggest buying some fire starter bricks and newspaper to help start your fires. The setting is absolutely beautiful! The creek runs right up next to the cabin and you can hear it from the bedrooms. The bathrooms need to be updated but they were clean. All in all,it was a very enjoyable and relaxing weekend!

The cabin was very clean and close to the Parkway. A lot of wild life to see on that side of the mountain! Two things I have to point out thought: 1)Did not like that the glass sliding doors did not lock. 2)The virtual tour makes the cabin look bigger than it really is. Overall we still enjoyed our trip! Thanks again!

Perfect for our purposes

by from Washington C.H., OH

This cabin had a two star rating at the time of our rental, which made me nervous. I soon realized that different people have different needs for their stays, and this cabin fit our needs perfectly. I can't disagree that it's not secluded; there are a lot of stairs; and some of the downstairs decor is dated. However, the stairs were not a problem for anyone in my family, and my son even has mild cerebral palsy. Only one cabin anywhere near us was occupied so that wasn't an issue. I was traveling with men, during March madness, so the multiple tvs were a bonus for them. There are three large flatscreens and two smaller ones. There was a lot of room in the unit for my small group. Loved the fact that it had two fireplaces, and we enjoyed the hot tub, the whirlpool, the peaceful sounds of the creek and the porch swing. This unit would be good for someone who does not like incredibly steep drives. I've stayed at other cabins in the area and all things considered, this cabin was as suitable for our needs as any we've stayed in.

Rustic and in need of love

by from Murfreesboro, TN

It wasn't what I excpected from the photographs. The staff was nice but the cabin was outdated and rustic for what we payed for it. I should have done more research. The floor plan wasn't explained in the web site and for it to fit 10 people with 3 parking spots. My calfes and knees were on fire by the time we left. Not a place for a family reunion or quick wedding ceremony.. Maybe just a visit or last minute over nite stay. You could see neighbors and construction from the deck. Staff was pleasant at check-in and they were helpful to change if nessesary but plans were already made and I couldn't change.

Response from Management

I apologize that you were not happy with the rental. I did read the description on the website and cannot find a discrepancy in the floor plan and the photos match the rental. The upstairs of the home has been remodeled and the lower level with the bedrooms still have paneling and the existing bathrooms. We were unaware of the construction taking place, as Gatlinburg is a growing area this can often be unpredictable. We appreciate your comments and hope that we can be of assistance in the future.

by from Irvington, AL

We really enjoyed our stay especially when it snowed. The cabin was wonderful except for the water heater wasn't adequate enough for the people who stayed.

Nice yard and view of Ober Gatlinburg tram overhead

by from Villa Hills, KY

Nice cabin in relative peace and quiet. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the Ober Gatlinburg tram that goes straight overhead! There is also a nice lawn area for cornhole or other games. I would recommend.
