Wine lovers rejoice! Coming in April of 2016, Gatlinburg, TN, will be hosting the Smoky Mountain Wine Fest! Including Tennessee wineries from all over the state, this wine-themed gathering will be something you won’t want to miss.

About the Smoky Mountain Wine Fest

Following Friday’s Wine, Dine and Art Crawl, the Smoky Mountain Wine Fest starts at 1:00 pm on Saturday. This annual event is celebrating it’s third year in Gatlinburg with many of the state’s best wineries. Along with the samples of these wineries’ labels you’ll be able to enjoy light fare from the best restaurants the Smoky Mountains have to offer. All participants must be at least 21-years-old with a valid ID. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Arrowmont School of Arts & Crafts.

Participating Wineries

  • Amber Falls Winery (Hampshire, TN)
    Created with family values, Amber Falls Winery makes sure that their customers have an experience that is both pleasurable and memorable. This winery features 18 different wines including 15 of which are award winners!
  • Beans Creek Winery (Manchester, TN)
    While Beans Creek Winery opened its doors in October of 2004, the initial start day was back in 1976 where owner Tom Brown made his first batch of wine in his mother’s kitchen. These wines have been judged in many different wine tasting competitions and have brought home over 200 medals.
  • Blue Slip Winery (Knoxville, TN)
    As Knoxville’s first winery and Tennessee’s first urban winery, Blue Slip Winery has a lot to live up to. They offer a multitude of delicious wines including favorites such as Red Muscadine and Old City Red as well as a selection of fruit wines including peach and blackberry.
  • Cade’s Cove Cellars (Townsend, TN)
    Cade’s Cove Cellars has wine for even the pickiest wino. From dry to sweet they have something special for you!
  • Century Farms Winery (Jackson, TN)
    This family owned and operated winery is located on a working farm that has been in the family for over 150 years.     Keg Springs Winery’s co-founder has achieved over 100 medals and 2011’s winemaker of the year in Tennessee. With accolades like that, you can’t miss these wine tastings!
  • Reedy Creek Vineyards & Cellars (Kingsport, TN)
    Encircled by the Blue Ridge and Smoky mountains, Reedy Creek Vineyards & Cellars has been producing delicious wines for years. From their wine club to their award-winning wines, you won’t be disappointed when visiting this winery’s booth.
  • Sumner Crest Winery (Portland, TN)
