Visit the NOC’s Great Outpost for the region's largest selection of top outdoor gear and apparel from brands like The North Face, Columbia Sportswear, Mountain Hardwear and many more. You will find clothing, shoes and gear appropriate for hiking, biking, paddling, snowsports, climbing and camping. NOC's Great Outpost also carries the Great Smoky Mountain National Park souvenirs and local arts and crafts.
Our LEED-certified store is worth exploring too! In addition to outdoor essentials and apparel you might need to enjoy the outdoors we have cool in-store attractions like an indoor climbing wall, a free kids bear cave and a swinging rope bridge!
Activities and Adventures
At our in-store Basecamp for Adventure we'll help you plan your Smokies adventure. Want to find a good view, waterfall or day hike? Stop here first. We'll also show you a range of guided tour options—from guided hikes to fly fishing and whitewater rafting. You're on vacation, and we're at work; make us do the planning.
