Description

After hibernating and honey, a bear's specialty is comfort. Just look at all these creature comforts.

Once you're here, you'll immediately notice the added intimacy of the open floor plan and added charm of the naturally finished wood surfaces that extend from top to bottom. A vaulted ceiling with plenty of windows lining the front of the home creates a cheery living space. Stepping through the front door, the home's king size bed sits to your right with a gas fireplace at the foot of the bed. Just opposite the fireplace is the heart-shaped Jacuzzi, a charming modern touch. A viewing window that looks out on the beautiful Smoky Mountains and Mt. LeConte makes this spot perfect for a soothing evening alone or with someone special. At the rear of the home there is a fully furnished kitchen and a dining table perfect for 2. In between these two spaces is the sofa and TV which features satellite access and a VCR. The home is serviced by one full bath with a stackable washer/dryer. Step out onto the home's deck and you'll find the inviting hot tub (with a privacy wall for your added peace of mind) and an unmatched view of the Great Smoky Mountains. If you're not feeling like taking a dip, there are rocking chairs to wile away the evening. All these comforts are guaranteed to make your stay a pleasant one.

Very quiet

The most important part of this trip for us was getting some peace and quiet. We definitely found that at A Bear's Den. We were next door to one other cabin but those guests seemed to want the same atmosphere we did, so we were very happy with our stay. The cabin had a great view of the mountains from the deck and hot tub.

This is a great couples getaway. The view is perfect. The size of the cabin is perfect. The location is perfect. It doesn't get any better than this cabin!

Love this cabin

We highly recommend a Bear's Den! We go to the Smoky Mountains a couple times a year and usually stay in Gatlinburg because we want to be close to the park. Our goal for this trip was to find a cabin that had good views and was close to town. This place did just that! Views are fantastic of Mt. Leconte which is what we were looking for. The size of the cabin was perfect for my husband, baby and myself. Love the fireplace and hot tub. Was pleasantly surprised how good the water pressure was compared to other cabins where we've stayed. We are telling all our family and friends about this little gem. We will definitely be back!

Great Weekend

We had a great stay. Few problems in the beginning but Mtn. Rentals made it right. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. the view was amazing. We enjoyed our stay very much.
