Description

You’ll be delighted by the cute village-like community of Cottage Gardens as soon as you pull off the main road. This home’s nice landscaping lends to its curb appeal, and you’ll surely be impressed immediately with its two-level deck, red slate-like roof and cupola for décor. The cheery red door greats you and encourages you to enter. As you step through it, you’ll find yourself in the lovely living room. This room, accented with bears and decorated in greens, purples, and ivory, has comfy furniture, including a sleeper sofa, and glass tables. The beautiful wood-burning fireplace has a unique space built in for log storage, and boasts a long mantle. Relax in front of the fire, and perhaps watch the flat screen TV, which comes with both a VCR and DVD player. The room’s high ceilings make it feel quite spacious. You’ll find gorgeous paintings throughout the home painted by local artist Robert A. Tino. Plus, there is a stereo system that pumps music throughout the home. The dining area is adjacent to the living room, and has a beautiful glass table with seating for 4. You may access the deck from this living/dining area. Views from here include the surrounding mountains and cabins tucked away on the hillsides. On the deck’s first level, there is a table with chairs for enjoying the great outdoors. If you take the stairs to the upper deck, you can frolic in the private 6 person hot tub. Back in the house, the kitchen is fully furnished, and has a nice space for preparing and serving your meals. This floor also has a washer and dryer and a ½ bath for convenience.

The stairs in the kitchen leading to the lower level will take you to the game room, which features a pool table, wet bar, boombox, TV and VCR. A beautiful wood-burning fireplace, identical to the one on the main level, can also be found here. There’s a table for playing cards or other games, plus a futon for resting. The downstairs bedroom has a king-size bed, TV and VCR. It too is beautifully decorated in the purples, greens, and ivory prevalent throughout the home, and has another Tino print. A full bath meets the needs for everyone on this floor. On the upper level of the home, you’ll find the master bedroom with a king-size bed, large closets, and an armoire with the TV and VCR. Of course, it is decorated in the home’s color scheme and boasts yet another Tino print. This room also comes with a full bath, featuring a whirlpool tub. Finally, during the summer months, you are just a short walk away from the community’s swimming pool. We’re sure you’ll be delighted with a stay in this Gatlinburg gem. And, if you bring a notebook computer on your vacation, you'll have broadband wireless internet access available, so you can stay in touch with your friends and/or business!

NICE CABIN

This was a nice cabin and was exactly as described. We didn't want to be too far up the mountain so this was perfect. The hot tub was great and my son enjoyed the pool table. Although it was only two bedrooms, there is a futon on the great room and my son used that as his bedroom. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need.
