Located high above downtown Gatlinburg, this nicely secluded 3 bedroom home, formerly known as "Tickled Pink" is an ideal choice for those wanting a conventional style home with exceptional comfort.

Outside, a stone exterior gives this older home a distinct charm. The wraparound deck gives plenty of space to relax and take in your wooded surroundings. Inside, a spacious kitchen gives you plenty of work space. The dining table seats 6 people and a bar provides even more space. The living room is nicely separated from the kitchen by a dividing wall and incorporates several mirrors to create the feeling of extra space. This area is furnished with a matching sofa and loveseat centered around a wood burning fireplace set into the far wall. There’s also a TV for your enjoyment. On the far end of the home are the 3 bedrooms. These rooms are each progressively bigger with a double bed in one, a double bed and rear deck access in the other and a queen bed and additional TV in the last. A separate full bath in the hall services each.

Winding down the spiral staircase we find the home’s recreation area. It comes complete with a full sized pool table, an oversized checkerboard as well as a lounge area that has a sofa and TV/VCR. There’s a full bath downstairs for you and your guest convenience. This is where you also find the home’s laundry facilities. But that’s not all: if you step outside onto the lower level patio you’ll see the hot tub, ready and waiting for a soothing session of mountain relaxation.

If you crave a home that feels like a true getaway, this home provides spacious, simple comforts that you will surely appreciate.

Deer Haven Cabin Experience (Annapolis, MD) - 8/2/2010

The overall experience with Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg has been quite awesome.   One small detail: This unit is in the mountains and despite calling ahead to ensure this unit was easily accessible with motorcycles, it was a bit more daunting than desired.   The house overall is very quaint.  The decor is a bit outdated but appropriate for the mountain setting. The cabin could go for a maintenance overhaul, but is not a fault of Mountain Rentals.  Some items in question include the gutters, basement door lock, bathrooms, power outlets & switches, and the pool table which desperately needs to be resurfaced. We did experience some issues with the hot tub not heating above 97 degrees.  It did take two days and two visits from maintenance before the heating issue was resolved.  The hot tub itself also needs maintenance done by the property owner, as the light and blower were not working during our stay. Again, the staff of Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg were all kind, courteous and professional.  We did thoroughly enjoy our stay and the extra amenities that a motel room simply cannot provide.  We definitely look forward to future stays at this property or others

A lot of updating needs to be done, but their service is the BEST!! (Brookville, IN) - 3/23/2010

This is our fourth stay with MROG, we love them dearly and will keep coming back. That said, I was looking for a low cost little cabin for our family of 5 to get away that wouldn't break the bank so we could afford to do some stuff, not just hang out in the hot tub. This was it! There was plenty of room for my little guys (6 & 4) to run around and being that there was an upstairs (kitchen, living room, bedrooms and bath) and a downstairs (large open "playroom", pool table, tv with seating, and bath) we could put the boys downstairs to run around while we made meals. This is a great cabin for families with youngins that have a distructive side, not a lot of knick knacks. The carpet is thin, so wear shoes or you'll be able to feel carpet tacks in a few places. The hot tub was wonderful. The whirlpool tub in the upstairs bath was great. The hot water is fantastic, but the pressure upstairs is a little weak. The internet's wireless router had wonderful signal, but about once a day it would lose signal and need to be reset (no big deal). Yes, the cabin is old, but it's very cozy and the couple of little repair issues were dealt with within 3 hours (GREAT!!). The biggest asset to this cabin is the customer service. J.P. was wonderful! Angel and Stephanie too! I made several phone calls leading up to the trip and a couple when we arrived to the cabin, and they were always the most wonderful people to deal with (as usual)! If you are looking for the cheapest place to stay, you might find it someplace else, but if you are looking for a great price with a company that treats you like you're family and will bend over backwards to make you happy, choose Mountain Rentals of Gatinburg, you will not regret it.

Response from Management:

Thank you so much for your review and we all appreciate your kind comments. I will contact the owner about the carpet and as always Thank You for staying with us! - 3/24/2010
