Description

Watch the clouds roll past from high atop Rocky point!

But the views aren't all this cozy one bedroom log cabin has to offer. Stepping inside you'll appreciate the added intimacy of the open floor plan and added charm of the naturally finished wood surfaces that extend from floor to ceiling. A vaulted ceiling with plenty of windows lining the front of the home creates a cheery living space. The home's deck is where you'll find the hot tub and the spectacular views of the Smoky Mountains and Mt. LeConte this home offers. Coming inside, on your right is the home's queen size bed and gas fireplace right at the foot. On your left is the home's heart shaped Jacuzzi. In between these two spaces is the sofa and TV which features satellite and has a DVD. Past this is the home's fully furnished kitchen and a dining table perfect for 2 as well as the full bath with stackable washer/dryer. Also remember that this home is located on a dead end road for added privacy.

For the couple looking to get away, Rocky Point is the place to stay.

Rocky Pointe is the last cabin on a dead end road and we love it for this reason. Very secluded and quiet. The bed is a little firm and the TV a little small, but overall it's a great cabin in the woods!

A Wonderful Stay (Cedar Hill, MO) - 10/22/2011

The stay at the cabin was wonderful, it provided a refuge from the crowds we encountered on this trip. When we visited during the same time frame in 2000 (celebrating our 25th anniversary) there were crowds of people but not like this trip. We had everything we needed right there in the cabin and everything was in good working order.I was very impressed at how well maintained that Rocky Pointe is, it is pretty much the same as it was when we first stayed there, 11 years ago. The hot tub and Jacuzzi were just what we needed after a stress filled day out and about. Not to mention, being St. Louis Cardinal fans, it was great watching game one of the world series from the Jacuzzi. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for a memorable 36th year anniversary celebrated at Rocky Pointe. Maybe we won't wait as long to visit next time.
