Description

The unique look and feel of this 2 bedroom cabin make it a great way to escape the workaday world and into the wooded seclusion of rural Gatlinburg.

This home combines the country décor and the log cabin feel of a frontier outpost. The exterior features red shutters and matching tin roof with visible hand hewn log walls and crossbeams between the first and second floor. Outside there is a private hot tub area on an enclosed patio area. There’s also a nearby picnic table and charcoal grill, perfect for enjoying the outdoors.

Inside you’ll find a fully furnished home with a wonderfully subdued atmosphere. On the lower level is the kitchen and dining room. This area has tile floors and all the desired amenities. The living room has a TV with satellite access and VCR and a wood burning fireplace. The furniture combines real wood craftsman ship that perfectly suits the surroundings: the naturally finished walls and the exposed support beams running horizontally overhead. Also, downstairs is a full bath with shower and a separate laundry room.

Upstairs are the 2 bedrooms, each furnished identically. Each features a queen size bed and has access to the rear deck. This is a perfect spot for looking out over the wooded surroundings or resting in one of the rocking chairs you’ll find here. A separate full bath is upstairs to serve the needs of both bedrooms.

If you seek an outdoor experience with an extra level of frontier charm and comfort, give this cabin a try.

Reviews

Marshall's Loft Review (Knoxville, TN) - 12/28/2011

This cabin has all the amenities of home. It was clean, well decorated and had plenty of parking space. The only drawback I could find was the living room didn't have much light and it was difficult to read the thermostat on the wall next to the bathroom. I recommend a flashlight for this. Overall, it was a cozy little cabin and a very good value for the price.

marshals loft (Lancaster, SC) - 12/1/2011

Cabin was great loved it!!!

Nov. 3-6 2011 (elsmere, KY) - 11/7/2011

cabin overall was clean and adequately appointed. Very hard to find particularly at night. googlemaps directions were not very helpful as many of the actual road signage did not match the road names on googlemaps requiring several stops for directions from locals. The hottub did not work during the visit. motor at first blew out, then the master electric board failed. office sent service person with a few hours to address the problem, but of course a repair of that nature could not be completed during the time of our stay. First time renting with this company, may try again at another time.

Response from Management - 11/7/2011

I sincerely apologize for the Hot Tub issue during your stay and it is in working order. The Google Maps do not show all of our mountain roads, so the Additional Directions map should be printed for extra assistance. We hope to see you soon!
