Description


The refreshing scent of pine greets you as you arrive at this cozy one bedroom log cabin.

Stepping through the front door you enter in the living room. The log and mortar exterior of the home is visible inside, immediately creating a rustic ambience. The floors are a naturally finished hardwood. The living room has a wood burning fireplace with a satellite TV with VCR. This space flows into the kitchen which is fully furnished and has a dining table just perfect for two. The downstairs bedroom is across from the home's full laundry facilities. This bedroom has a king size bed and a mirrored solid wood dresser. A sliding glass door opens onto the deck where you'll find the hot tub and a great view of the surrounding Smoky Mountains . The home's full bath features an old-timey claw foot bathtub and pull handle toilet with plenty of old fashioned charm. Upstairs in the barn-style loft is an additional bed with an additional schoolhouse style sink and toilet for the chance guest.

All in all, a perfect spot for the couple seeking the solitude of the mountains.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and my wife loved so I rented it for our fourth anniversary even with other cabins around it is still very private it could use some upgrades but for all and all its a great cabin that we love

Overall, our stay for 2 people was excellent.The hot-tub is very outdated and needs work and too over sized for the deck in as there are smaller models that seat the same amount of people. The sliders should be replaced also. Otherwise, no other complaints; the cabin was decorated in a cute primitive theme. The bathroom was awesome. Loved the commode! It was quiet and quite relaxing. Thank you for a nice week.
