After hibernating and honey, a bear's specialty is comfort. Just look at all these creature comforts.

Once you're here, you'll immediately notice the added intimacy of the open floor plan and added charm of the naturally finished wood surfaces that extend from top to bottom. A vaulted ceiling with plenty of windows lining the front of the home creates a cheery living space. Stepping through the front door, the home's king size bed sits to your right with a gas fireplace at the foot of the bed. Just opposite the fireplace is the heart-shaped Jacuzzi, a charming modern touch. A viewing window that looks out on the beautiful Smoky Mountains and Mt. LeConte makes this spot perfect for a soothing evening alone or with someone special. At the rear of the home there is a fully furnished kitchen and a dining table perfect for 2. In between these two spaces is the sofa and TV which features satellite access and a VCR. The home is serviced by one full bath with a stackable washer/dryer. Step out onto the home's deck and you'll find the inviting hot tub (with a privacy wall for your added peace of mind) and an unmatched view of the Great Smoky Mountains. If you're not feeling like taking a dip, there are rocking chairs to wile away the evening. All these comforts are guaranteed to make your stay a pleasant one.

Amazing (Cincinnati, OH) - 11/27/2011

My husband and I stayed here on his 4 day pass before his deployment to Afghanistan. We had an amazing time! It was over Thanksgiving weekend so I did have to cook Thanksgiving dinner, and other than the potato masher and kitchen shears I brought with me, the cabin had all of the utensils and baking dishes I needed to make a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. I highly recommend this cabin and will probably be returning with my husband when he gets home from Afghanistan!

such a beautiful place to go just to get away from the everyday hustle of life. Relaxing, refreshing and the cabins are awesome.
