Description

Located on the edge of the ski mountain resort area, this 4 bedroom home is great for those wanting a mountain setting for their vacation experience while still staying within reach of downtown Gatlinburg.

Setting just off a side road where a creek flows past this 2 level home, we climb the stairs to the front door. There’s plenty of deck space to go around on both levels, with a picnic table area on the lower level as well as 2 person swing and a hot tub. Stepping inside, the upper level begins with the living room and kitchen area. This area has hardwood floors throughout and is well sectioned so the spaces flow. The kitchen has bar seating for 4 and dining space for 6 and the entire floor has a warm creamy faux treatment on the walls paired with wood accents and artwork gives you an upscale cottage feel. A half bath in the kitchen area services this floor. The living room features a wood burning fireplace, sofa, loveseat and large chair with ottoman and a High Definition 42” Plasma TV. A small desk resides by the fireplace and you have access to high speed internet. There are also plenty of windows to allow for ample amounts of natural light. Combine this with the vaulted ceiling and you have a comfortable and capacious living environment. The home features 4 bedrooms, all on the lower floor. Two of these are smaller designs one has a double and the other is a queen with TV’s in each. The remaining two feature king size beds and noticeably larger floor plans. One has a cable TV while the other has a flat screen and a door providing outside access. Two separate full baths accommodate these rooms. The remaining bedroom is the largest of the four and features a private full bath, with Jacuzzi tub, and an additional TV. The best part however is the presence of a second wood burning fireplace, perfect for setting just the right mood. Each bedroom has its own private exit to the large decks outside, which comes with a large and private hot tub.

An exciting blend of location and features, this home is a great way to bring the beauty of the mountains right at your doorstep.

Loved it!! (Kennett, MO) - 1/3/2012

We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. The only 'complaints' we had were with the stove and refrigerator. The controls on the stovetop seemed to be reversed and the lower part of the refrigerator had a lot of condensation. Nothing bad enough to be a deal breaker though. :-) Also, there are a lot of stairs going into the cabin, plus the stairs inside are steep... something to keep in mind if you have someone in your group with any sort of mobility issue. I would DEFINITELY stay here again!

Girl's Weekend!! (Greensburg, IN) - 11/15/2011

We found the Creekside Cabin to be very cozy and comfortable. The bedrooms are decent size with VERY comfortable beds, the fireplace in the master suite was wonderful. The upstairs decor was beautiful and recently updated - with the exception of the kitchen. The stove is ancient and really needs to be replaced. We had problems with the stove top not working and placed a service call. The maintenance man came and fixed it promptly. The fireplaces are wood burning so I would suggest buying some fire starter bricks and newspaper to help start your fires. The setting is absolutely beautiful! The creek runs right up next to the cabin and you can hear it from the bedrooms. The bathrooms need to be updated but they were clean. All in all,it was a very enjoyable and relaxing weekend!

Enjoyable! (CINCINNATI, OH) - 10/22/2011

The cabin was very clean and close to the Parkway. A lot of wild life to see on that side of the mountain! Two things I have to point out thought: 1)Did not like that the glass sliding doors did not lock. 2)The virtual tour makes the cabin look bigger than it really is. Overall we still enjoyed our trip! Thanks again!
