Description

If the name didn’t make you smile just stepping inside will. Entering the living room you find a country chic décor consisting of a red plaid sofa, a print overstuffed chair and a perfectly placed recliner for Dad. A lounge style sofa is tucked neatly by the stairway with a reading lamp for Mom that will melt the stress away. The pale yellow walls paired with red accents make this an inviting, cheerful room. The white armoire (with TV, DVD, VCR and Stereo/CD player) and tables add an appealing contrast. The full kitchen and dining area for 8 is equally impressive with carefully chosen pieces throughout. The 1st bedroom has a king size bed with comfy pillows, a TV/DVD combo, plenty of closet/dresser space. Across the hall is a full bath with shower only. Outside the breezeway has a relaxing hammock and log chairs.

Upstairs the game room is ready for fun with a full size pool table, air hockey, plenty of seating, including a table for a game of cards and a TV, DVD, VCR and Stereo/ CD player. Whew, so much to do so little time! An adjacent full bath with whirlpool tub leads you into the second bedroom that includes a king size bed, daybed/trundle bed, TV and VCR for a slumber party.

The upper deck off the game room has patio furniture and Hot Tub. The lower deck has a charcoal grill and picnic table for some quality time with nature.

This home is ideal for the whole family! * This home also includes a highchair, baby gates and a playpen.

We love coming to Gatlinburg and staying in our favorite cabin! The only disappointing thing was that there wasn't as many Christmas decorations at the cabin as there usually are when we come in December. We missed the porch decorations and lights! Otherwise, it was a wonderful place to spend our anniversary!

Family Friendly and Functional (Atlantic Beach, FL) - 11/21/2011

The Chickadee is very family friendly. The driveway provides easy access to the cabin and made loading and unloading our vehicle easy. The kitchen has very practical pots and pans for use while cooking. We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to staying there again.

When we first arrived at Chickadee we felt right at home. We enjoyed all the perks that chickadee had to offer. This cabin is located on a dead end road so theres not a lot of travel on this road but you can get ready for the wildlife...Don't be surprised by the BEARS...... This cabin comes highly recommended!!!!!!!! Enjoyed the stay!!!!!
