Description

Custom multi-leveled decking greets you from the driveway and leads you all the way up to the front door of this hidden mountain treasure. Once inside, you are instantly welcomed by the warmth of the chalet's cozy setting. Stepping into the living room, you can be easily drawn to the center of the room, where the wood-burning fireplace awaits. Opposite the living room is the dining room which has plenty of seating for the whole family. Adding to the ornate decor is a hand carved cuckoo clock, which gives the dining room a one of a kind feel. Leaving the dining room, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen, ready for all your cooking needs. Venturing further down the hall is the first of two bedrooms, which contains a queen bed and a TV to add to your comfort. Directly across the hall is a shared bathroom.

Upstairs the luxury continues. An open loft exposes the Jacuzzi, which allows you to sit back and relax while enjoying the mountain setting outside. Down the hall is the master bedroom alongside the second shared bathroom.

Spend the evening hours on one of the many decks and enjoy first hand nature’s exhibit while listening to the mountain brook for which the chalet is named. It is also conveniently located to all Gatlinburg attractions and services.

Enjoyable Stay. (Kingsport, TN) - 1/18/2012

Nice comfortable cabin. While decking was a nice and necessary part of this cabin, I didn't realize the distance I would have to carry items to get to the cabin. Being in a winter environment (very light snow had covered all decking and steps and turned to ice after walking across it for several trips) had to use extreme caution navigating the decking and steps. This could be a major problem for some potential guests. While the marketing material states that "Custom multi-leveled decking greets you from the driveway and leads you all the way up to the front door of this hidden mountain treasure", I was surprised at the distance from the driveway to the door. Except for that, location was convenient to get out and go to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge very quickly.

Great Cabin, Great Location! (Cincinnati, OH) - 11/18/2011

Stayed here for an extended weekend. It made for a great stay. Pros: * The location! It was right in between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge making either one really easy to get to. It's just about a mile off the main road, right by the Gatlinburg Welcome Center. * Woodsy surroundings. Loved the little brook that ran by it. It was a great atmosphere. * The cabin was comfortable and roomy for me and my wife. * Really appreciated the automated check-in and check-out process. It saved us valuable vacation time. Cons: * The wi-fi wasn't working. The access point would occasionally show up on our devices, but it would disappear quickly. I reported it not working and had to leave a message with the office. I never received a follow up and it never got fixed. That was disappointing. * I'd be cautious of the road to the cabin in the winter time. It would be a little scary commute on icy roads. The road up to it is steep and curvy. Overall I liked the cabin and I will likely consider it again for a future visit.
