Situated in a beautifully wooded spot, this easily accessible chalet is still close enough to town to allow you to take in all of Gatlinburg’s attractions. Outside, this elegant country home will impress you with the tasteful landscaping that surround its perimeter and a contemporary design plucked from the pages of Better Homes & Gardens. Inside, the vaulted ceiling adds to the feeling of space while the hardwood floors and naturally finished walls and ceiling create a sense of openness. Stepping through the front door you find the dining room table that seats 6 directly on your left with a spacious living room area straight ahead. The living room has an easy-to-operate gas fireplace elegantly constructed of stone and extending all the way to the ceiling for a striking visual appearance. There’s also a TV with DVD player for your entertainment. Close at hand is the kitchen. This space is fully furnished and is designed to maximize workable space. Stepping through the patio door onto the rear deck we find the home’s hot tub and a spectacular view of the surrounding area and mountains. The winged visitors that inhabit the nearby trees give this chalet its name and you’ll surely want to spend an evening here relaxing with your newly found feathered friends. Stepping through the kitchen we find the home’s first bedroom, furnished with a queen size bed, TV and a quaint country décor. There is also a private bath with shower only. Upstairs is the home’s second bedroom. Out your bedroom window you have an even better perspective to appreciate the home’s view. This space is fully carpeted with a queen size bed and additional TV. While furnished with modern comforts it is decorated in an old country fashion with an antique sewing machine on display and quilt patterns on the bed spread. It is adjacent to afull bath with shower. Downstairs is the home’s spacious game room. This area has hardwood floors and naturally finished wood walls that lend the air of a pristine mountain lodge. There is a full size pool table, a ping pong table, and a lounge area with TV, a foldout sofa and an additional gas fireplace. Downstairs is also where you find the home’s separate laundry room and a half bath.
