This newly built one bedroom log cabin manages to be close to town and still be a wonderfully romantic retreat.

Easily accessible to all of Gatlinburg’s attractions, ample free parking in the heart of downtown is only a half mile away. Yet this home sacrifices none of the natural splendor that you want from a Gatlinburg retreat. The home is located in a beautifully wooded area just on the edge of the national forest.

As for the home itself, you enter in the home’s recreation area, complete with a pool table. The inside of the home is appointed with hardwood floors and naturally finished wood surfaces that extend throughout the home. The downstairs is a very open living space with a high arching vaulted ceiling. The game room opens into the living room as well as the fully furnished kitchen and dining room area. The living room is furnished with a comfortable sleeper sofa placed right in front of a gas fireplace. There’s a LCD TV and DVD placed within a recessed mantle just above the fireplace. From the living room, step onto the back deck with hot tub and outdoor seating. Upstairs is the master bedroom. This space is furnished with a king size bed and a separate full bath. Additionally there’s a beautiful Jacuzzi area in the bedroom that will make your stay extra special.

A perfect spot for the couple that wants to enjoy a romantic retreat but still wants to see the attractions of downtown Gatlinburg. Don’t hesitate to book your stay early.

great getaway

A Walk in the Park was perfect! The location is so convenient - we walked from the cabin to dining/shopping in Gatlinburg within 10 minutes - yet it was quiet and secluded. Also very convenient to the entrance of GSMNP where we took hikes. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the gas fireplace (it was cold and snowed during our late March stay). All appliances in good working order, including washer/dryer that came in handy after walking on wet trails. The keyless entry feature and maps provided were great and saved us time with check in and out. Overall, my husband and I had a wonderful time! I have already recommended Walk in the Park to friends.

The cabin was spotless when we checked in. We enjoyed playing pool and relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day. Everything was comfortable and we had a fabulous weekend.
