From the front porch you can enjoy the spectacular view this home provides while relaxing in the 2 person swing or one of several rocking chairs. Melt away your cares in the hot tub on the large private rear deck as you gaze on Mt. LeConte.

Hardwood floors, log cabin walls, and a vaulted ceiling make the inside of this home just as invigorating as the mountain breezes outside. Entering in the living room we find a wood burning fireplace in front of a matching sofa and loveseat. There is also a TV with cable access to keep you entertained and a DVD/VCR. The adjoining kitchen area is a roomy workspace with a breakfast bar and all the desired amenities. The dining table seats 4 and the laundry facility are close at hand. The first floor bedroom has a queen size bed and additional TV. This room is decorated in a country blue and is serviced by the full bath located in the hall. The upstairs is where you find the second bedroom with a king bed and TV. There is an additional queen bed in the loft area. This space is carpeted and benefits from lots of natural light thanks to the ample amount of windows. There is also a full bathroom in the hallway with a 2-person Jacuzzi tub. Ceiling fans in all the sleeping areas as well as the living room add to your comfort. You will also find an air hockey table in the loft area for your enjoyment. Heaven on earth Ronny, Shelbyville, KY

If you really want to enjoy the mountain experience, this cabin is the place to be. High up on a mountain top with a beautiful view of the mountains off in the distance and Gatlinburg. Not only could you see the clouds kissing the mountains but actually being a part of it was awesome. The sun shining on the distant mountainside at sunset made them look like they were on fire. The two story cabin was great. Plenty of room for large families even though there were on two of us. Two sleeping areas upstairs with an overlook of the large family room downstairs. Another bedroom downstairs as well as a fully equiped kitchen. There was even a hideabed in the couch in the family room. This cabin would easily accommodate eight people. The large deck out back has a hot tub in a private setting and the long front porch has several rocking chairs and a swing. If you don't mind a steep drive up with limited parking area fitting at most two cars this cabin is the place to be. Lets keep this place our little secret. I wouldn't want it to be booked up next time. Why anybody in there right mind would want to stay in a motel room and pay to eat out when they can stay here and cook what they want, when they want for about the same money and have a great view is beyond me. One last note, this rental cabin is right in the same area as the arts and crafts community. We spent two days just shopping the loop and barely scratched the surface of the number of stores and shops. You can even drive to the nearby park and ride area for the trolley and go anywhere. Either downtown or the arts and crafts loop. I just can't say enough good things about this place. You'll have to see it to believe it.

Wonderful Weekend Tammy, Noblesville, IN

We had a wonderful time in your cabin, very restful, peaceful and just wht the doctor ordered for stress relief. We had a very nice friendly black bear join us the 1st eve, that we were in the hot tub. we was even lucky enough to get him on video. Thanks Again, and we hope to see you all again real soon. Appalachian Splendor is the one! Sarah, Horn Lake, MS

Our whole family loved this unit. I, as the mother, loved the wonderful view and large front porch, the convenience of a washer and dryer, and the two bathrooms. The kids loved the air hockey table. My husband loved the couch and cable TV. It was great having a cable TV in two of the bedrooms also. The decor was charming. Everything was very clean. The hot tub on the back porch is very secluded. The unit also smelled clean. Not damp or musty. I am very sensitive to smell and that is always the first thing I notice. The air conditioning motor fan went out the first night but Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg had it fixed the very next day. The unit worked fine for the rest of our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. No rudeness or unprofessionalism at all. (These days that is very hard to find.) A word of warning: do not put out the trash until you check out as the animals will get into it every night! After two days, I just kept it inside the cabin. The drive up to the cabin is not for the faint of heart! The last 100 feet is very steep. None of us wanted to leave. My husband, when we were locking the door to leave, said "Good bye little cabin!" and my husband is very hard to please when it comes to accommodations! This is a wonderful cabin!
