Looking at the pictures of the cabin on the internet does not do it justice. The cabin was so clean and well taken care of. We were so impressed with the decorations and homey feel to it. I think we spent more time on the porch than we did inside. This was the most relaxing vacation my husband and I have ever had. The only recommendation I would make is to put a dresser in it so people can unpack there suitcases and truly feel at home. We will be back soon. thank you for a wonderful stay.

This cottage was just perfect for us - style, well appointed kitchen, front door parking, very comfy beds, and a spectacular view!

This condo was great. Very clean! We even got to see a bear as we were grilling out on the balcony! It was awesome! The only thing this condo needs is wifi!! There is no internet. Overall we really enjoyed and play on going back in the future!!

The cabin was beautiful. I especially loved the hot tub and the jacuzzi spa tub. The driveway was very narly and steep and you had to be careful how you parked. I would definitely rent with Mountain Rentals again

We fell in love with this cabin. The view from the back deck is breath taking. My wife loved the hot tub and we used just about every day. I was loved the bear carved out of stone that is above the fire place. The gravel road took a little while to get use to driving on but by the end of the week we were driving on it with ease. The location is perfect. It is clost to town yet far enough out to give you a feeling of seclusion. This is a great place for a honeymoon or to celebrate a wedding anniversary.

I thought our stay was well worth it. The cabin was very clean when we arrived, and we had no trouble finding it with the directions given. The hot tub was very relaxing and temperature was just right. No complaints here!

Had originally booked Captain's Quarters as our rental. Was totally unsatisfied with the rental. Called the front desk and asked if we could move and was directed to come right down. Loved the Journey's End and will stay again.

First time staying with Mountain Rentals and our goal this trip was for a great view....and that we received! But with the great view came alot of steps. Not a problem for me but my husband has some serious back and knee problems so was a bit difficult for him and brought our niece with us who is getting ready for total knee replacement in both knees. Needless to say, it was a challenge for both of them. Even inside was a challenge for at least one of them as someone had to stay downstairs. Other than the steps, it was a great stay and a spectacular view! Would consider staying again - depending on who would be traveling with us.

My husband and I stayed in this cabin for our anniversary and ABSOLUTELY loved it! It felt like "home" as soon as we walked in. The wrap around deck is awesome! Our favorite ammenity is by far the majestic view of the mountains from the ol' rockin chairs.Would defenitly recommend this cabin!!

The cabin and view were wonderful. Had a great time staying at Heavenly View. Only suggestion is to have two more rocking chairs on the balcony since the cabin seems designed for 4 people. Other than that our stay was great!

This cabin was perfect for a nice getaway with the lady. Woke up every morning to a beautiful mountain view. The amenities were perfect for the 2 of us and we would definitely stay again. Overall great vacation. 2 thumbs up

Was a wonderful stay, we had the best view in GatlinBurg! The cabin was very clean, well kept, confortable and cozy. I will definetly stay in Blue Bird Point next time.

My husband and I rented Misty Mountain for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful time. The cabin was very nice and clean and our view of the mountains was amazing! We would definitely stay there again!

The cabin was completey removed from other cabins which made it very special. The decor was great- hardwood all around. There was a porch with a swing and a hot tub overlooking the mountains. From the porch we watched the morning sunrise and it was absolutely amazing!

This was our third visit to "Above the Smoke"! We love this cabin! It is always clean, well maintained and beautifully decorated. It is clearly evident that the owners of this cabin work very hard to make you feel at home here and that they take great pride in doing so! It is so much nicer than staying at a hotel! And, the location of this cabin makes it very easy to drive to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge! You can't go wrong with this cabin or Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg!

What a great chalet! We have stayed with Mountain Rentals before but this one is by far the best view we have every had. We will deffinately be returning to this rental the next time we return to gatlinburg. The view of the mountains was spectacular. Couldn't ask for a better, and more peacful place to stay. We will see you again soon!

From the beginning of my searching to the end of my stay I was entirely satisfied with Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg. I loved the easy to use search engine and I couldn't find better prices for the value of these cabins with any other company (believe me, I searched and searched for hours). The staff was super friendly and accommodating with every phone call, which I truly appreciated. Lastly, but definitely not least, when my husband and I got to our cabin it was everything it had been advertised as. The view is incredible, the cabin itself is super clean and comfortable, everything was working (and working well), even every kitchen appliance I could have ever wanted was there! I surprised my husband with the cabin for our one-year anniversary and both of us were ECSTATIC with our stay :) Thank you for everything, Mountain Rentals!!!

Staying here was a real treat, you got a lot of pluses for the price! I thought at first this was expensive but after doing the research of other cabins, its not at all compared to them. Especially with extra amenities. The only problem was the hot tub was lukewarm but we only used it once so I learned next time we wont get the extra stuff. But liked how close it was to everything!

Loved the cabin!! However, wish we had a better view of the mountains bc they were gorgeous! The cabin was cute. The hot tub was amazing. Stress melted away as soon as we checked. We will definitely be renting again... Hopefully SOON(:

The view from this cabin is great. The road up to the cabin is new, not steep. Drive is long but wide and in good shape. About five minutes to town. We like the covered parking. The cabin is good size with lots of room. Spent most of the time on the two decks. Hot tub was just the right temperature. Cabin is in good shape. Just the right place to get away from it all for a while. We are already looking forward to the next time. Mountain Rentals were great, just like always. The cabin didn't have internet but the lady at the office invited me to use their computer and printer in the office. No bears this time. We will be back soon.

Our cabin was sublime! Nestled on the side of a mountain facing out towards the smokies. The room was immaculate and so cozy. We enjoyed the Hot Tub, the heart-shaped jacuzzi and the kitchen! Just so relaxing....be sure to enjoy all of the great hiking the Smokies have to offer too!

This is a great cabin with a wonderful view. Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg is a wonderful company to find the cabin that is just right for you. And with their informative staff your Smoky Mountain adventure will be one you will never forget.

Really enjoyed our stay at this cabin, the road was a little hairy on the first trip up but we got use to it......would love to rent this cabin again.....very peaceful place to have some R&R.....we will be back...... The Lands

Hubby and I have been wanting to go to Tennessee to cabins for 3 yrs now, so i decided to finally make a reservation for our anniversary. We had a great time besides we only had a day and a half to explore but we decided this is goin to be a every yr trip but different cabins every time. This cabin was perfect, we luved it, it was a wonderful stay.

Our family recently stayed at this cabin and made so many priceless memories. We were hoping one of them would have been spotting a bear, but maybe next time. We wish we could have stayed longer and can't wait to visit again!

We stayed at the Bearantics and it was great. Very cozy place. The driveway was steep, but everything else was great!

We had a 5 night stay for our 10th wedding anniversary at Kear's Mountain Splendor in May. What a great cabin and view of the mountains and trees! And the staff at Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg was so helpful as we actually had booked another cabin and switched, and then added more days. And a great deal on the cabin itself! We hope to be back sometime soon!

My boyfriend and I truly loved the Sweet Potato Patch! The cabin was very nice and homey feeling. The location was perfect; while we were close to Gatlinberg, everything was very quiet. The only issue we had, was the celing fan in the upstairs bedroom, it made a really loud clicking noise. Other than that this was the perfect cabin for us, and we plan on staying here again!

This cabin is a comfortable, clean, quaint, place to stay with the absolute greatest view there can be. Absolutely a great place to just relax and wind down. Plan to spend ample time here, we relaxed so well we booked an extra night and was glad we did. No complaints at all. We looked at other cabins offered by other rental company's in the area and found Mountian Rentals Of Gatlinburg to offered the best maintained and cleanest properties.

This cabin was by far the nicest cabin we've ever rented. It is secluded and the view was beautiful. Upon arrival, we thought that it must have been a new build within the last year or so. It was hard to believe it was actually more than 10 years old. It was as clean and well maintained as a brand new cabin. The drive up to the cabin could be a little scary during winter time, but it was spring during our visit, so no issues there at all. We didn't use the hot tub(wife is pregnant), but we looked at it and it followed the same level of perfection the rest of the cabin exhibited. This will not be our last time staying here. I only wish we could have stayed "Forever".

The hot tub had several bees nests around it. We would have liked to play our ipod on a radio. The shower had a loud ring in the downstairs bathroom. Nothing to not come back, but wanted to let you know.

We had a great time!!

We had a wonderful week at this cabin - very relaxing. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck listening to the birds chirp and the river "sing". Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg is the best company to use for a cabin vacation.

My husband and I had an amazing time at ur cabins we have 6 children together three toddlers and three teenagers,so this was a much needed vacation. The cabin lofty dream we stayed in was amazing it was very clean and beautiful the hot tub was extremely clean and just the right temperature.I would have to say this was the cleanest cabin i have ever stayed in, in gatlinburg and would highly recommend it to anybody

Super comfortable, very spacious, saw a bear at the front door and on the road during our stay. Most comfortable beds we've ever experienced on any vacation! Minor housekeeping issue upon arrival, hot tub wasn't exactly warm, and a torrential downpour caused major roof leak on our last night, but feel like agency will handle those issues. Overall a beautiful place to stay - watch the road up the mountain carefully, however :-)

This cabin(though not really a cabin) was a great value and within walking distance of everything you want to do. My wife and I will be returning. If you are looking for quiet seclusion this is not for you. Some of the stuff was a bit out dated but functioning with the exception of the hot tub. It was too hot and would not turn the jets on. Other than that this was the perfect get away!!!!!!

Great cabin with a gorgeous view. Good value for the price. The rocking chairs on the deck were a little uncomfortable. Would be nice to have a small table on the deck also, as the weather was very nice and we would have ate breakfast on the deck. We would recommend it overall. We have stayed in Gatlinburg 8 times.

The view and cabin were outstanding. We definitely desire to come back in the future.

my family and i stayed here for a whole week. we love it so much we would rent this cabin again and again. the views of the mountain are great and it is so quite around the cabin too. the driveway is very steep, but everyone driveway is like that. this cabin is in the mountain on the side of the mountain. very nice and pretty cabin.

The Cabin was great as usual. The view is breathtaking. We used the hotub every night we were there and it was wonderful. Everything was clean and neat as usual congrats to the cleaning crew. We will be returning as soon as we can. Thanks for the memories.

Our stay at the black bear lookout cabin was absolutely incredible! The cabin was VERY clean and stocked with anything you could need for your stay.We were highly impressed it exceeded our expectations. I am terrified of bugs and spiders and that was a concern of mine. I checked in corners of the floors and ceilings and I didn't even see one cobweb or insect in the whole place :) I would highly recommend staying there in fact I have already to family and friends. The patio was difficult at times to enjoy due to the wood boring bees but it is nature and you can't control that.they aren't as bad in the evening though.

I booked this cabin for my honeymoon in Aqpril 2012 on line. It was easy and I had great communication with mountain rental staff. They were very prompt and helpful. The cabin was perfect for my husband and I. It was not too far from town but far away enough to give us that lost feel. It was very clean and well maintained. I would absolutely stay their again on my next get away.

My sister and I have made it a tradition to come to Gatlinburg and rent this cabin at least once a year. The location is great! It is just far enough out of town to be relaxing, yet close enough to be wherever you want to be in a matter of minutes. It's the perfect cabin for us because we each have our own space and it is always immaculate!! This last time we were here we did have a problem with the TV. It was after 6:00 PM on Good Friday, and the maintenance people (I'm sorry I forgot their names) came right away to solve our issue. We will definitely be back!!

My husband and I just needed a few days away from our world. We rented Sweet Surrender at first because of the swing and rockers on the front porch. It was everything we expected and more- charming, clean and relaxing. We loved the spa, jacuzzi and the bed was perfect. The decor is precious-country but not overdone. We skipped the tourist stuff and spent time in the mountains looking for waterfalls and enjoying the beautiful countryside. We definatly will be back, maybe to Sweet Surrender or maybe check out one of the other units. Want to bring the kids and grandkids back so will need a much larger unit this summer. Thanks to the owners and the company for such a nice unit and nice people working there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cabin. The view is amazing from the balcony. The bonus game room in the basement is a wonderful addition. For the price paid, I don't think there could be a better location in the Smokies. The staff also was great. We actually managed to misplace the key to the gameroom and the staff provided us with another key promptly. The only drawback is that it took a long time to get the hot tub to a desirable temperature. However, other than that, everything was perfect and I can easily see why this cabin is a top rated rental.

We drove our 05' Corolla and still had to make 2-3 point turns onto Bavarian Way and into the drive. We started passing up and coming back to both Bavarian Way and our drive to be able to drive up more easily. The first entry into the driveway was scary due to spinning tires and not much room to back up due to drop off. If you are scared of heights this may not be for you. Bavarian Way is a one lane road. The cabin was clean and private. Beautiful view!! Pizza can be delivered!!!

We needed a quick getaway with our family to celebrate my 50th bday and our wedding anniversary before my husbands knee replacement surgery. I had to have something that we could also take our dog to, and this was the perfect place! Plenty of sleeping space, quite setting and very close to town. The hot tub and pool table made entertaining our teenagers easy. The staff at Mountain Rentals made it very simple and were extremely friendly! Great weekend at a reasonable price!

It was a very relaxing and clean enviroment . Overall is was great for what we were looking for . My only concern would be the bees. There were bees all around the front door, that made it difficult sometimes to come in and out comfortably. Thanks for the great service and we look forward to staying with you again.

Management response: The Smoky Mountains seem to have an abundance of carpenter bees that are attracted to log and wood siding. The good news is they don't sting - the bad news is they remember for generations where they were born and continue to return making them difficult to eliminate.

Loved the Cabin, the hard wood floors, the amount of room my husband and I had! This was a great size for the two of us. The quite at night! Very peaceful and relaxing! Loved it! Everything we needed was in the cabin! Which makes it so nice not to have to bring with you everything. The hot tub was so nice to get into after walking the town. I have been renting from you for about 12 or more years! Your staff does a great job! Thank you Candy

We had a great time at your cabin. It was less expensive and more nice than cabins we have stayed in in the past. It was difficult to find at first but it didn't help that it was dark. Overall a great experience.

this is our 2nd time staying at artist nest, it is just so comfortable and clean. We had 2 minor service issues which were taken care of immeadiately. Went to office to get Dixie Stampede tickets, the office staff are great! The comments about the steep driveway are humorous as it is on the side of a mountain. The views are best before the trees fill out but are still great. Decor fits chalet and location perfectly. Will definately be back.

I was on vacation from work with no plans at all. My girlfriend also was off for a few days. We spontaneously decided to go to Gatlinburg. So we packed up with our two kids with no place to stay. I found them on my I-Phone on the way down and rented a cabin. They were so accommodating to our needs. The stay was absolutely perfect and after seeing the cabin we even extended our stay an extra night. The only negative was there were a lot of ants on, around, and in the hot tub. We had to clean it out each day. Other than that it was just what my family needed. It really was a home away from home. Everytime we pulled back into our private drive it really felt like we were at OUR place. My two boys had a blast and their mom and I were able to reconnect. We needed this vacation and Heather's Mountain Chalet deffinately delivered the best experience. Thank you Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg!

Beautiful cabin. Decor was outstanding and very clean. Walking distance to town. Employees were VERY helpful and accommodating.Only drawback was construction being done on another cabin right next door. Work started at 9am and continued until 6pm. But that is understandable given the great condition of the cabins and care that is necessary for the upkeep. Will definitely stay there again next year.

My husband and I visited Gatlinburg for the first time for our honeymoon. We loved it, the cabin and the town. The view in this cabin is amazing especially from the upstairs level. Everything about the cabin was wonderful, was clean, quiet, cozy just what we were looking for. I would recommend staying in this cabin and we can't wait to return next year :)

Clean unit with king sized bed in the master bedroom. Close to major attractions. Great for a couple, but too small for a family of 4.

I had wanted to visit Gatlinburg again being my 3rd time.Me and my great friend wanted to stay at a cabin overlooking the mountains.It was easy to find on the Internet.The prices & service was what i wanted.I had gotten to see my first Bear.My friend,she just loved all the places that were there to visit.(stores,aquarium,nature,etc.)I will be planning to visit the cabins again, hopefully soon!

We rented this cabin for our honeymoon and it was perfect. We were able to relax and enjoy being with each other after the busyness of the wedding. The cabin is cozy and the view is awesome :).

We loved our stay at Aunt Carol's Cabin and would love to stay again! It was soo pieceful and had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. I am currently looking for a cabin now for another weekend getaway in June with Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg but am so torn as to stay here again or stay in something new to us :) either way I would recommend this cabin to everyone! :)

The house was perfect for 2 couples for a weekend getaway.

30th Wedding Anniversary, and we hate to tell anyone about this *Secret* place...What a wonderful stay, great staff, clean & welcoming. Quiet, peaceful retreat. Clean & cozy. Wonderful experience. My husband & I call it our *Ground Hog Day*(movie) retreat that we want to keep living over & over.

This was our second time staying in Dogwood we really like the location of the cabin.You are close to everything! We love how friendly the staff is and how hard they work to make sure you dont have any problems!

this was our second time staying at this cabin and it looks the same now as it did six years ago. great place to have a quiet get away. clean and beautiful. we will stay again.

We would recommend this cabin to any couple looking for a quiet getaway. The deck and hot tub can't be seen from any road or other cabin, and the unobstructed view of the mountains is wonderful. The gravel road is steep, especially at the hairpin turn, but you're only on it for a very short distance; it's more of a long lane to the Love Nest. Less than ten minutes to downtown Gatlinburg, and only a couple of stoplights away from the arts and crafts eight-mile loop. Well worth the price.

Honeymoon in the Squirrel's Nest cabin was absolutely amazing. The view was breathtaking. We were both extremely pleased that the cabin was so high in the mountain. The cabin was beautiful, rustic, comfortable and completely peaceful. What a wonderful way to begin our new life together. We didn't want to leave and cannot wait till we have a chance to come back. We love Moonshine Run. The view was fantastic and the cabin was delightful. A great weekend getaway.

This was the perfect cabin for our weekend trip. The cleanliness of the cabin was impressive. The decor was up-to-date and cozy. The convenience of the location was perfect. It was a 5-10 minute trip down one side to Gatlinburg and a 10-15 minute trip down the other side to Pigeon Forge. We'll definitely be back. We rented this cabin for a weekend getaway. Upon arrival we were excited and impressed with our cabin. The cabin size was perfect enough for a couple but the kitchen area was a little small. The appliances also looked extremely outdated, and probably not energy efficient! The hot tub and jacuzzi were both used and were the standard jacuzzi and hot tub. A negative was there was no view, right outside the door from the bedroom (where the hot tub was) was trees immediatly. But a positive was that we were the last cabin on the drive, extremely private and extremely quiet. A good place to rent if your goal is to relax and enjoy time together.

The cabin was very clean upon arrival and had an excellent view as advertised. We made good use out of the hot tub and the upper deck area was great for relaxing and enjoying the sunset. Only complaint is that the pool table was cheap and smaller than a pool hall sized pool table. The kids still enjoyed playing around on it as well as the Foosball table. But us adults didn't even bother playing. Overall experience was excellent and would definitely recommend staying there to a friend.

This cabin was great! We went with another couple for a weekend getaway and it was definitely something I will do again. The view was "Awesome" hence the name. Hot tube worked great and it was a really relaxing place to go.

We did enjoy our stay. We would have wanted a little more privacy. We felt that the houses were so close that we could be seen when we were in the hot top. The lights in the hot tub did not work. If we had the light on outside where the hot tub was it attracted a lot of bugs, so we had to leave the door open for light so we ended up having bugs in the house. An upgraded CD player would have been nice. We did like the layout of the house, we loved the whirl pool, and we would recommend this cabin to friends and family. We would also stay in this cabin again.

If you're looking for a great romantic getaway that's close to nature yet minutes to the shops and restaurants of Gatlinburg you should definitely book Dollar and a Dream with Mountain Rentals. My wife and I stayed there for a long weekend and loved every minute of it. Even our dog Rosy felt at home. It was very relaxing which is just what we needed. We will definitely come back to Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg.

Location, location, location. This house is close to the main strip in Gatlenberg. And only 45 minutes to excellent hiking and mountain scenery. My family of four enjoyed being able to swing right back to the house for lunch or to drop off some of the great treasures we found.

This cabin was amazing, it was close enough to Gatlinburg that it was easy to travel back and forth between town, but with where the property is you felt like you were deep into the mountains. The view is incredible, the cabin is spacious and nicely laid out. I will definitely rent this cabin again.

We had 4 adults in our party and overall had a great time and loved the cabin. The only disappointment was that the description of the amenities stated 2 showers. With 4 adults that was cause to eliminate other cabins. When we arrived we found only one shower. Unfortunately, we did not get to use the hot tub since we were out and about a lot. We could have stayed another week.

The rental unit was nice very well decorated and had one hell of a view! The moon rise over the mountains was a fantastic sight! The place was clean and my hat is off to housekeeping! I will say for the price paid you should put a few $$ into the unit and get a new outdoor hot tub. Its almost ready to fall apart. The entry outside corner and did seperate on me almost causing a fall. Another problem we had was the invasion of piss ants our last night of the stay in the kitchen on the counter near the door. Wasn't a big deal this warm winter has brought out all kinds of bugs early. New flooring in the kitchen would be nice too. Near the front door its pretty bad! Please dont get me wrong we had a great stay kitchen was fine we ate in all week was somewhat private just upgrade a tad and make it better would be my advice!

What a wonderful cabin. Great location at the edge of the Nat'l forest and Gatlinburg's city limit. Great location - nicely quiet yet extremely convenient to everything. The cabin was picture perfect with a nice homey feel. Only a minor issue - the dvd player didn't work properly. We couldn't have had a better place to stay for our weekend getaway. We will stay here again in the future.

"A Precious Place" was just that. Once we found it, we had a great week. The decor was fantastic with the Easter theme and we arrived on Easter Sunday evening. Everything was well arranged, fully equipped and just like a home away from home. The home made bread was an added treat as well. We loved the quietness, the cool nights and warm days and just being back with nature. The deck and porch were favorites of ours. We would definitely rent this property again. Mountain Rentals has this business down pat as well. We never saw any of their people, but we didn't need to. They have checking in and out down to a science. Thanks to all for a great week!

My husband and I visited for 4 nights in mid-April. My overall experience with Mountain Rentals was outstanding. The cabin was easy to find, and the unit we rented was spotless. The nearby cabins were closer than I expected, but this didn't take away from the overall experience. It was very quiet and comfortable. And the price we paid for the stay was excellent. I've paid more for a plain hotel room in town! We've been to Gatlinburg many times, but this is the 1st time renting a cabin. We will definitely be returning to the same place.

I must say,my entire family was pleased with the overrall experience of staying in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. It was our first time staying in a cabin and it was breath taking. the scenery was beautiful. the cabin was well kept and very clean. The shopping experience is a girls fantasy, in both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. I would recommend any and everyone to visit Gatlinburg, but you must stay in a cabin to get the full effect. can"t wait for a return visit.

The rental process with Mountain Rentals was an easy easy process. Their keyless entry made check-in and check-out a breeze. The cabin was situated in a beautiful spot with plenty of privacy and wonderful views.

Everything was beautiful in the chalet. There were comfortable couches in the living room complete with a gas fireplace & oversize flat screen tv. On the deck there was a nice hot tub overlooking the beautiful scenery of the mountains. The were only 2 drawbacks ~ a very uncomfortable bed & a scary narrow drive that led to the chalet. But overall, it was a great stay.

We have rented from MRG several times and as always, we had a blast. Just remember you are in the Great Smokey Mountains and there are bugs. We had our morning coffee on the deck in the rocking chairs watching the sun rise and in the hottub with our evening beverages watching it set. We grilled out every night and had everything we needed to cook a great breakfast inside. The cabin is comfy and a perfect place for a hard working couple to unwind. THANKS MRG

Great house with view, steep driveway and several three point turns are required to get to the house from Gatlinburg.

This cabin is the perfect cozy size for two! The cabin was very clean and well decorated. The only thing I would suggest is better lighting on the far end of the porch where the hot tub is located. It was very dark and there were all types of insects and wildlife around, not being able to see our surroundings was a little nerve racking. Over all it was a great stay and I would totally recommend this lovely cabin.

I recently completed a 4 night stay with my fiance at the Bearly Rustic cabin and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The cabin is the perfect size for a couple and is very convenient to downtown Gatlinburg. The balcony offers beautiful views of the mountains and we also enjoyed the outdoor fireplace in the evenings. I would gladly recommened this cabin rental to friends and family!

I wanted a great view of the mountains so I could watch the sun come up from my hot tub. Got it! Fantastic view, clean cabin, with great atmosphere. No color on tv, called, it was replaced within the hour! Everything worked and was well maintained. Great for a couple or two love birds. The drive up is not for the weak hearted but so well worth the reward of seeing the valley and mountains out the windows and from the deck. Can't wait to return.

Overall we had an excellent stay and would definitely rent this home again. The only detractor is the driveway. You must make a very sharp turn into the driveway and if you are longer than a Hummer then you will need to back-up in the road (which isn't very wide) to make the turn. The second turn into the actual driveway isn't any better.

My wife and I realy enjoyed our time at Blue Bird Point. The veiw was majestic to say the least. A perfect setting for a weekend escape. This cabin will become a yearly escape for us for sure.

My husband and I have rented cabins before from Mountain Rentals and have found all cabins to be clean and comfortable. But the seclusion and personal touches of the Nestled Inn made for a very special stay. And to know the owners were close and even came and wished us well at departure was a very nice touch. We would definetly return to the seclusion of the Nestled Inn. The only drawback was Rod Run week. Had we known of this we would have booked a different time. We love the mountains and want to Thank You for a memorable stay.

We have visited the area many times, usually renting a cabin/chalet. We have used Mountain Rentals in the past. We have always had a pleasant experience, and the cabins have always been well kept. On this trip, we were extremely pleased with Life's Escape. It was wonderfully decorated and we had a great stay there. Would love to rent this again!! Thanks for making our vacation a great one!

My fiancé and I stayed in the Lover's Loft unit in Gatlinburg for a weekend getaway. The cabin was extremely well taken care of and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful over the phone. I would recommend this cabin, and would definitely stay here again.

You will be blessed, if you stay in this cabin it is family friendly with so much to see and do it is like home away from home, it has everything you need, and i would give this a 5 star just because I had a wonderful time here with my family and they loved it to, God bless you all and thanks again I pray we get to stay again one day

This cabin was perfect for my family of four! Outside view was breathtaking and the cabin came with everything you would need. Forgot to bring a lighter though, so no grilling....The gas fireplaces made the rooms nice and cozy and the pool table definately gave my family hours of competitive, fun entertainment. Getting to the cabin was a steep drive up, so I would recommend an SUV for the haul!

Excellent cabin for the money, we brought our Harley to ride the Tail-of-the-Dragon. Great location, seclusion, easy to get to, nice view, kitchen was complete, and there were no unexpected surprises that so often happens while staying in someone else's home. Thanks, we'll be back!!

We loved the location and all that the cabin had to offer...especially the hot tub and the gas fireplace. We had fun grilling out on the deck and being able to enjoy the marvelous view. It was close enough to Gatlinburg, spectacular scenic routes through Smokies as well as great dining...Bear Creek Grill and No Way Jose's Cantina! We look forward to returning to the Smokies!

Really enjoyed our stay. The unit was private and was very quiet and relaxing. The view from the deck was awesome! We will definitely stay in Cuddle Bear again!

This was our first time in the Gatlinburg-Pigeon Forge area, and our first time staying in a cabin. They set the bar high for any future vacations. This place was spotless, and beautifully decorated. Felt like a home away from home, so much nicer than a loud, over-crowded hotel. Can't beat the price either. Perfect location also, no long drive to the most popular places. So very, very pleased with our stay here.

Smoky Hollow was a fair property to rent. We were here for Spring Break. Three adults and three children under 6. We love Gatlinburg and have visited many times. First time renting with Mountain Chalets. We loved the ability to receive a code to allow us to enter the rental without having to checkin in withe the rental office. However the next day, because we bought tickets to the aquarium, the management office required that we pick the tickets up at the office. When we arrive at the management office, the tickets were not ready and we had to wait for the tickets to be printed. Then when we arrived home from the aquarium, the rental company called the rental unit to conduct a computerized survey of the management company. Not two hours later someone call the rental unit in person and asked if there was anything that they could do to make our visit better. I asked that they leave us alone to allow us to enjoy our trip! Too much customer service!

Management response: We do send a survey to guests since we now do not get to meet everyone. This allows us to address any issues you may have upon arrival. If a response on the survey rates an area such as Maintenance low we do a follow-up call to find out what is wrong so we may address it.

A great cabin with spectacular views. Loved how the cabin was set so that it seemed secluded even though there were neighbors (but the neighbors were not “on top of” you). The landscaping was more than I expected and added to this. The driveway is very steep, but this is what gave the breathtaking views. The only real complaints were the bed was very “firm” (the cabin should have a more “plush” bed) and the grill was like you would find in a park and was situated across the parking pad from the cabin which made grilling after dark difficult. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, the fireplace and the views. Definitely a cabin we will remember for our next visit.

Our children gave us a trip to the mountains and wanted us to stay in a cabin. Going in April was the perfect time. The weather was great. We enjoyed the time we had there. We would like to go back one day with our children and grandchildren.

We arrived to our cabin, not knowing what to espect since we normally travel to the beach; we were floored when we arrived. The cabin was more than we could have imagine. The pictures online did not do this place any justice. We are planning another trip soon, but this time all girls no kids.

We had an awesome time at Windsong! The kids all had their own space and my husband and I had our privacy also. I would love to stay in Windsong again next year, hopefully longer than just 3 nights! The view was breathtaking and the cabin was beautiful! The cabin is very secluded, which made for a very private get away! Since we were there on Easter, we hid Easter Eggs on Sunday morning outside for the kids! They had a blast! Definitely made for an unforgettable Easter and family vacation! We are so glad that we chose Mountan Rentals!

We stayed at the Kickback Kottage and loved it. Everything was clean, the hot tub was nice, and the kitchen was well stocked with useful cooking appliances. This is a great layout if you have kids. The upstairs loft was perfect for my 6 and 8 year olds, and the bedroom in the basement with bunk-beds and twin beds was perfect for the younger kids. Perfect for two families to stay together with multiple kids. Location is 10 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. Even the view from the front porch was nice. Loved it and would stay again.

We rented the cabin for a weekend getaway and could not have had a better time! The owners really thought of everything-it was like being at home. The cabin was incredibly clean and in the perfect location...close to area attractions, but far enough away to be able to sit on the front porch and listen to the birds. The decor was adorable (loved the bear coffee table!) We're already planning a trip back in the fall.

This was the first time we had ever left our kids! We have been together for 15 yrs and married for 10 yrs. So we were a little "off" about going. BUT.... when we got there everything was perfect! The cabin was much nicer in person then the online pictures. I have never stayed somewhere that is actually nicER then the pictures you see online! The cabin is well taken care of - super clean! I'm a big bug person... and bugs weren't even an issue! Minutes after we got there, a moma bear and two cubs walked right along our car to the trash container outside. Moma checked out the trash while the cubs ate berries off the bush next door. The day we left - the same thing happened - just minutes before we walked out to leave. It was like they were there to welcome us and to see us off! I can't wait to come back! LOVE this cabin!!!!!

The Bear's Den was exactly as it was when we stayed there several years ago. The cabin was clean and well taken care of. The Hot Tub was nice and warm on a cool evening. The two nights were just what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of work. Thanks for the memories.

Viewing this cabin online does it NO justice. We were pleasantly suprised to find that is was much nicer than the photos. It has plenty of room and was a very short drive to town. Overall We are VERY satisfied with our stay and we look forward to working with Mountain Rentals again.

This cabin was very nice. We even got to see 2 bears climbing up a tree right next door as we were arriving. At first the driveway looked a little steep but then seen it wasn't all that bad. My ONLY complaint was walking around upstairs, the floors are very squeaky.

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was beautiful, the view was spectacular and it was located close enough to town to be handy but far enough away to have some quiet. I can't wait to go back again!!!

This is a very nice cabin. The view from the deck is simply awesome. Nice, cozy decor. The only drawback to this unit is that there are no tv's in any of the bedrooms, so if that is an important thing to you, be aware. Other than that, we were more than satisfied with this cabin.

Sweet Surrender is a beautiful cabin with amazing views. we usually stay at Ever After but it was booked this year. we were not disappointed with Sweet Surrender. It is very comfortable and has everything you need for an unforgettable experience. We are very happy with Mountain Rentals and will continue to use your company for years to come! We wanted a quiet romantic week in a cabin for our 25th wedding anniversary and we could not have found a more perfect setting than with the Ever After cabin. We stayed for 7 nights the week before Easter. The cabin was clean and had every ammenity needed for a couple wanting to get away from it all. There are a couple other cabins roofs that can be seen from the back porch but I really don't think that once the leaves fill in you could be seen by others. We will definitely be returning to this very cabin on our next trip to Gatlinburg.

Ample space for extended family getaway. We had four adults and two kids staying with plenty of room. Unit had been cleaned well, hot tub on back deck was just right. Veiw really nice from living room as well as upper deck. Unit shares driveway, other units close, but they sit below this one. Driveway steep and curves to a sharp left as coming up the road, but our Dodge Journey handled this well. Nice newer TVs but could have used a channel guide. Kithchen well stocked with nice appliances, however needs new toaster. Would stay again if I had a large group.

This is the second time we've rented from Mountain Rentals, and they've exceeded our expectations each time. The process couldn't have been much easier. I have referred several people to this company because of the ease, cleanliness, and overall value.

Spring break and decided to try a new cabin. Almost Home is a nice cabin but not roomy enough for our family. Loved the porch swing and open deck for the sunny days. Plenty of hot water to go around.

We had a great time. The cabin was much better than we thought it would be. I think it had been updated. Looked great. We did not have any problems at all. The kids loved the pool table, checkers and the hot tub was great. This cabin was very nice, I don't know why it is not rented more!!! The people at Mountain Rentals are very nice, they always are we have stayed with them 6 times and never disappointed!!!

This was not our first time using Mountain Rentals. Our stay this time was wonderful. The cabin met all our expectations. It was comfortable and enjoyable for all of us. Like a home away from home. I loved the setting of the cabin. Three stories, and the cabin was very clean and had plenty of room. Me and the family had a great time. We always vacation in TENNESSEE. So Im sure we will rent again from Mountain Rentals. I would reccomend them to anyone. We will be back in July 2012.

Above the Smoke is ideal for a private getaway! The view is awesome! It's far enough away from the downtown area to feel remote, yet close enough for convenience. Bring enough food to cook and eat, and you'll have everything you need for hiding away in the mountains. It was very easy for us to feel like home in this sweet cabin!

This was definitely the way to enjoy the Gatlinburg area. We were close enough to town and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park trails, but felt like we were outside of the busyness of downtown. The cabin was just right...clean and comfortable. We'd seriously consider returning.

My boyfriend and I came here for a 3 day weekend and really enjoyed our stay at the Pine Knott. It was a cozy-- a good size for us. We especially enjoyed the indoor fireplace, hot tub, and view. Thanks!

My husband & I decided to treat ourselves to a belated 30th anniversary trip. We searched through lots of cabins online and did we ever pick a winner! I was a little worried about my allergies since it was pet friendly, but that was not a problem at all. The decor was beautiful and looked basically new. The bed was a little soft for my taste, but overall everything was great. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub after being on our feet all day shopping or hiking. My only real complaint is that they should have all of the light switches labeled. That way you wouldn't have to turn on 3 or 4 to get to the one you really wanted. However that is a very minor detail for such a wonderful cabin. If we get the chance to come back to Gatlinburg, we hope to rent this cabin again!

To celebrate out 5th wedding anniversary, my wife and I decided to take our 2-year-old daughter with us on a family vacation up to Gatlinburg. We stumbled upon the Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg website, which led us to this cabin. When we saw the pictures of this cabin, we fell in love with it. As time got closer and closer to our trip, our excitement grew and our expectations became loftier and loftier. On the day that we arrived to the cabin, we were so amazed and impressed! This cabin FAR EXCEEDED our loftiest expectations. As a previous review stated, the pictures of this cabin just cannot do it justice. We immediately felt comfortable and at home in this cozy cabin. Someone has really paid great attention to all the small details. The decor is absolutely amazing! The century-old logs that this cabin is built of give it such a rich sense of history. My wife and I spent an entire day around the cabin just taking pictures of our family and of the cabin itself. It had all the amenities that we could have asked for. I wish my kitchen at home was as fully stocked as this cabin's! Every night at dinner, we would sit at the handcrafted table on the porch and enjoy our meal. My wife and I really enjoyed getting in the hot tub at night. If you want to go into town, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are both very close by, a short drive to either. We wanted something secluded, and you can see a couple of other cabins close-by to this one. However, they're far enough away that we felt we had the mountain side to ourselves. The only negative thing I could say about our experience, was that our dream vacation had to come to an end. We have memories (and photographs) that will last a lifetime. We can't wait until our next trip up to this cabin. I don't know how someone wouldn't immediately fall in love with this place the moment they walked in, and I can't imagine renting from anyone but Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg.

Our chalet in Gatlinburg was perfect. The cleanliness, furnishings, decor, linens, amenities, location and view were amazing. We enjoyed the convenience of accessing the tourist attractions. We will definitely return at our first opportunity and will recommend the area and chalet to all of our friends.

This was our first experience with Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg, and it was a great one! We enjoyed the time spent there. The cabin was clean and exactly as described. This cabin had a forest view, and was resonably secluded (though the road leading to and from the cabin leaves little privacy in the hot tub). Gatlinburg was a short jaunt down the mountain...we will definitely consider this cabin again in the future.

We have rented cabins from MROG before and knew we had to this time also. The staff has always been friendly, fast and helpful. This time was no different. The cabin "Life's Escape" was truly beautiful! It was clean, up to date, and very comfortable. The setting was private and just amazing! Thank you for another great Tennessee vacation!

My family and our best friends went to Gatlinburg for a dance competition. We picked Chubby and Cubby's Den to stay for the weekend. It was a wonderful experience. The overall feel of the cabin was so warm and inviting. We enjoyed the mountain views and the cleanliness of the cabin. We had no issues with anything in the cabin. I would definitely stay here again on another trip to Gatlinburg.

My wife and I loved the cabin with the open layout. The cabin was clean and fresh when we arrived. The view was excellent. The only major complaint that I had was that the hot tub was just a "warm" tub. The water was only at body temperature of 98 degrees (like a slightly warm bath). That was very dissapointing and enough of a problem to keep me from using that cabin again (or company if all of their hot tubs are like this one). I will ask about the hot tub in more detail next time. The only other minor issue was the shower head. It was small and low in the shower making it difficult for me to use. Overall we had a good experience.

My self, my wife, and our 3 year old daughter rented this cabin for a Spring Break Vacation. I searched the web for a long period of time and chose this cabin because it appeared to have everything I wanted in a cabin as far as ammenenities, decoration, location etc. The cabin was EXACTLY as it showed in the pictures. Often times the cabin is not as nice as the pictures, but that is not the case with this cabin. It was unbelievably clean, well organized, and the location was very convienvent. The pictures of the deck are what initially got my attention, and again it was exactly as it appeared in the pictures. We spent a large majority of our time on the deck going back and forth between the hottub and the fireplace. I awoke every morning to the gobbling of turkeys as I sat on that deck enjoying the view. The kitchen has everything you need, as well as the bathroom. The pooltable was in great shape as well. My wife and I absolutely loved everything about it. The only negative I could come up with was the water pressure. It was a bit weak but that has happened to me before in other mountain cabins. The driveway has been mentioned as a negative, but it is really no big deal, especially compared with others I saw. The people at MRG were very easy to deal with, from the reservation, to the keyless entry, to checking out. In short, next time I rent in Gatlinburg, I will rent with MRG, and I will definetly try to stay in this same cabin! Thanks so much MRG.

My husband and I decided that we needed a quick Smoky Mountain fix this spring, so I hoped on the internet and booked a long weekend in A Bear's Den cabin. Cute and clean studio cabin with a great mountain view. Hiked all day and came home and soaked in the hot tub on the deck overlooking the mountains. Mornings consisted of sitting out on the deck rocking while drinking a hot cup of coffee enjoying the morning sunrise! What can I say...a perfect long weekend in the Smoky Mountains. Thanks MRG for another great getaway!!!

Very nice cabin with a beautiful view! Could use a few upgrades, such as a newer t.v. Other than that my we were very pleased with this cabin. I would definitely recommend it!

My husband and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and really wanted to spend it in the mountains. Our Sweetheart's Retreat cabin was excellent for the 2 of us. It was quaint and cozy, well decorated, beautiful views and very affordable. Location wasn't hard to find with our gps and due to the checkin/checkout instructions we were able to do everything automated over the phone and never had to talk to anyone. Everything involved was so easy. I would highly recommend!!

The condo was very spacious and clean. The veiw was wonderful. It was definately worth the money.

My girlfriend and I loved the cabin. We had a great time at the cabin. It was in a great location and we would rent the cabin again. My girlfriend wanted a cabin jus like the one we stayed in.

I liked the cabin overall. It was very clean. The only bad thing I can comment on would be the shower head. The pressure was ok but the output had a lot to be desired. I know it is a water saver shower head and I have no problem with that, but there are some that do a better job.

We really enjoyed our stay at heavenly view. The cabin was wonderful, Will request this cabin on our next trip to Gatlinburg.

Had a great time staying in this cabin. Very cozy and spacious at the same time. Spent Tuesday thru Thursday with my two daughters, 12 & 9, and they had a blast. Hot tub was very relaxing and clean. The bed was comfortable and though we prefer a wood burning FP the gas one was still quite nice. The drive up to the cabin is very twisty but very enjoyable and the grounds around the cabin were quite beautiful. I would def stay here again.

The home was everything pictured! The view, day and night, was wonderful! The driveway was certainly an adventure; however so are the mountain roads when you're that high up!! Our stay was very enjoyable from the extremely well stocked kitchen to the multi-cade in the game room (that was a nice surprise). I loved taking a trip down memory lane playing pac-man, centipede, frogger and more!! We loved the open concept of the home! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

The house was very comfortable and had AMAZING views of the mountains! My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful short trip. The cabin is a short, easy drive from Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountain National Park. The house was wonderful but there were carpenter bees outside on the deck that kept us from using the outdoor space. We definitely would go back!

We had a great experience staying in this cabin. The only thing we had any problem with was that the beds are not that great and me being pregnant it made it extremely hard to get any sleep on a bad bed. Overall we had a wonderful time and everyone loved the cabin.

I work with college students at my church, and I booked A Wolf's Den for our Spring Break Retreat. It was perfect for our needs. Ten of us enjoyed the cabin and were more than pleased. The game room and pool table were a big hit, and the hot tub was a great way to unwind after a day of enjoying the mountains. The beds were all extremely comfortable - the best I've experienced in all of my cabin rentals. The kitchen was more than adequate for preparing large meals. The top deck's rocking chairs and table offer a perfect view for breakfast as the sun peaks over the mountain crests. We were extremely happy with our stay at A Wolf's Den, and my group has already voiced their vote to stay there again next year.

overall, the stay was very good nad location was the best with great views of the mountains. the only thing that was not so good was the elements on the stove. one did not work and the other three did not get very hot. that would not stop us from renting again

We stayed in this cabin our first time to rent with Mountain Rentals. We believe it was about 22 years ago. It was a very memorable stay then and this time also. We were delighted when we pulled in and realized this was where we had stayed before. Some improvements were made, but it still had the same atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay and wished it could have been longer.

My family and I have been coming to Gatlinburg every year for almost a decade now and this little cabin can't be beat! It is always so clean and the view is AMAZING! It is so quiet and peaceful yet a 5 minute drive to downtown. We will continue coming back again and again.

We rented this cabin to celebrate our second wedding anniversary/ honeymoon we never had. It was wonderful, from the decor to the view. We spent most our time grilling out and relaxing in the hot tub. The Jacuzzi tub upstairs leaked into the kitchen so we really did not get to enjoy it more than once because we didn't want to ruin anything, but informed maintenance. Also the internet was very slow, but that didn't matter as we had other things to occupy our time :) What is really great also and I recommend to future guests is the Welcome Center is down the road and you can park free there and ride the trolley into town for .50/per person. We will defiantly be back for another stay. Don't forget your spices/oil/butter/foil for your stay when you intend on staying in to cook! We left some salt/pepper shakers and foil for future guests!!! Thanks again Don and Ann!!!!!

My wife and I spent a couple nights here. We visit Gatlinburg at least once a year and have stayed in many different cabins. This one is one of the best and we will stay again. We really wish we could have stayed longer. The drive to the cabin isn't as bad as some. The driveway is pretty steep and I would suggest a 4 wheel drive if visiting in the winter. The cabin was very clean. The TV in the living room is pretty nice (flat screen). The jacuzzi and hot tub are both very nice. There is a pretty cool radio / intercom system although I didn't get much of a chance to play with it. I wouldn't plan on playing a real serious game of pool, as the pool table is slighly broken and not completely level. Still, the bonus of air hockey made up for it for us. Also, if you are hearing noises in the middle of the night, it's probably nothing. We got up twice hearing the floor creak and other noises, but found nothing. I'm not sure what the noises were, although some of it was the fridge. Either way, it wasn't a big deal, just something to keep in mind. Great cabin / chalet. We were very happy with our stay.

The cabin was fantastic and the view and atmosphere were wonderful. Driving into Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge was quick and easy - it is a short drive to attractions and restaurants. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I am vacationing in Gatlinburg.

We stayed in this cabin 5 years ago on our honeymoon and loved it enough to come back on our anniversary. It is in a great location, very close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Great cabin and very fairly priced. We had a little bit of trouble with the wifi and they sent someone out after giving us instructions to make sure that the problem was fixed. It was a wonderful trip for my husband and I. We will be renting from Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg every time we visit.

The cabin was great, we were there for a family vacation. Close proximity to all events and secluded from the downtown noise. The cabin was just what we needed.

We needed a 3 day getaway to relax and couldn't have picked a better location. If you want to have a peaceful, gorgeous view, relaxation, while in a hot tub or sipping coffee in a rocking chair on the porch, and not be overpriced, this is perfect. We will definitely return.

This a perfect cabin for a peaceful and comfortable few days away to relax.The cabin had everything needed to rest and it is in a great location that both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are easy to get to.We will be back to stay here again.

I was amazed at the bang for the buck with this cabin. It's huge, has a tremendous game room and first- and second-floor balconies that wrap around the cabin. The gas fireplaces are convenient and every room has plenty of space. One thing I really loved was that everything was contemporary. So many cabins have dated furniture and old-fashioned decor, but this cabin felt very new and up to date. The kitchen was the same way, with contemporary stainless steel appliances. The complaints I have are very minor. One would be with the downstairs shower, which was cramped and awkward. however, this was easily remedied by using one of the two upstairs. There were minor issues with insects - tiny ants in the kitchen and big carpenter bees all over outside, but none of them really bothered us. I would have preferred better TVs because we were there during March Madness - there were two flat screens that were very small and several older tube TVs - but on the upside, ever TV had a DirecTV box. We really enjoyed the game room, which was complete with pool table, foosball table and an arcade videogame with 60 old-school games (I proudly set many high scores on Centipede and Gyruss!!). It struck me how great it would have been to have more people staying there to take more advantage of that room (there were only two of us but this cabin could easily hold six or eight people). One thing to be noted, which is not a complaint, is that this cabin isn't way up on a mountain. We loved it because it was so convenient and wasn't on treacherous roads. But if someone wants to be very isolated and high up a mountain, this might not be the best fit. This was far and away the best cabin I've ever had in my many trips to Gatlinburg over the years and the price was quite reasonable. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, spacious and nice cabin that's close to the action in Gatlinburg. I will certainly consider it again for future visits. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at LogInn Memories. Driving up to the cabin is a beautiful view of the mountain. When first entering, the cabin felt very warm and welcoming. Rustically decorated, this cabin is a perfect cozy getaway for a family or couple. Both bedrooms have baths and there are extra bedding in case you may need it. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking. We enjoyed using the fireplace and the hot tub. Each time we entered the tub, the temperature was just right. The two sofa's in the living area are ideal for a game night or to cozy up and watch a movie. The cabin even has some movies for your viewing. If you need to catch up on a little work, LogInn Memories has wireless internet access. We enjoyed our stay at LogInn Memories and cannot wait for another getaway!

My husband and I stayed at Ever After for 3 nights, just to get away from it all. We had a little difficulty finding the driveway because the cabin number is at the bottom of the sign and we missed seeing it the first time and drove passed it. Other than that, everything was absolutely perfect! Everything was very clean and the cabin was better than what we had expected. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed and more, including a blender, toaster, mixing bowls, wine glasses, and wine opener. We love our privacy and the cabin had privacy, however there are other cabins around that you can see. We visited in March and the trees hadn't fully filled in with leaves yet. I imagine once they do, you won't be able to see the other cabins. We loved sitting on the back decks, both upper and lower, looking at the mountains, and enjoyed the hot tub on the deck as well. We highly recommend this romantic getaway.

Another anniversary getaway was an enjoyable and relaxing success. Silver Moon is a wonderful cabin that is very nicely decorated. It's handy getting into Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Would definitely recommend this cabin. Met the owner because I got turned around on my way to the cabin (GPS won't find the cabin) and she came out and escorted us in. She is very nice and has paid great attention to detail. Had a wonderful stay.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at Mountain Splendor. It was absolutely beautiful and had wonderful amenities. The cabin was amazingly clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. This will be the cabin of choice for our next trip!

The cabin was great! A perfect for a getaway for two people! It was very clean when we got there and everything seemed to be in pretty good shape. We really enjoyed the it, however we did have a problem with wasps (and other bugs) in the cabin. Maintainence came and sealed the doors for cracks but they still kept getting in from somewhere else. Would not recomend if you are deathly allergic, otherwise it's a great stay!

Our stay at Silver Moon was excellent. Over the years we have stayed in several cabins but this one by far was the cleanest. Everything was in excellent working condition and up-to-date. Excellent value and would definately return!

I have stayed in other cabins owned by the same owner, they were excellent. This cabin overall was perfect. One major problem the hot tub kept me and the wife awake. The hot tub is to close to the bedroom. Every time the tub kicked on it vibrated the porch. I will stay at the other cabins but not this one. The views were awesome.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Very relaxing and peaceful. There was plenty of room for us. Enjoyed the hot tub and it was nice and hot. The rooms were big and we loved playing pool, I have played pool in a long time. The decks were very soothing to sit outside enjoying my coffee. The weather was great. The kitchen had everything we needed for a three nighit stay. I would love to come back for a week and bring other members of my family to enjoy. We really enjoyed the furniture in the cabin, love the ideal of the keypad lock because that way you don't have keep up with a key. I would recommend this cabin to anyone. Beautiful scenery, well appointed cabin with fun patriotic decor and lots of extras. Be prepared for a very steep windy drive...small cars are best! We enjoyed it so much, it's our second time staying in Mountain Mist and we hope to return again in the future.

the cabin was easy to find. A little on the small size but was nice for the price. We found the beds a lil to firm. Over all it is a nice cabin and we enjoyed the stay.

Family enjoyed the stay overall. Roomy for 4, hot tub was great, and my boys enjoyed the games. Not a fancy cabin, but so much better than staying in a tiny hotel room. Only real issue was that my husband has allergies to dogs and cats, and he was congested the entire time we were in the cabin. We are pretty sure there have been pets in the cabin, even though the description said no pets were allowed. We would definitely rent from Mountain Rentals again, but not the same cabin.

The kids and I had a wonderful time. They each brought a friend and there was plenty of room in this wonderful cabin. Great location, beautiful decor, everything was great. One small tidbit the hot tub never seem to get hot, it was about the temp of a lukewarm bath the one time we utilized it. No worries however, we were way to busy to miss it doing all the other activities that we planned on our trip. This was a great 7 days and one of the best vacations the kids have had in a long time. Last year was Myrtle Beach and this was way over that due to the amazing cabin accommodations. My husband is in Kuwait for a year he will be returning in July for a short visit, I am already planning out trip back to one of your cabins. Thanks again RMorgan~

Cabin was relaxing with a good spring view, especially at night. Cabin was very clean and had comfortable beds and furniture. Kitchen was well stocked with the essentials for light cooking. Loved the Jacuzzi tub and hot tub! The TV in the living room was a bit small for our preference, but we didn't watch it much as there was a lot to do in the National Park, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge. The key-less check-in was super easy and convenient. Rental process was the best we have experienced. We love the Roaring Fork area and will return as soon as possible!

This was a great cabin to stay in. We had two families staying so it was great having the adults upstairs and the kids downstairs. Plenty of room for them to play and have fun. The home was very comfortable and felt like home. And we must mention the amazing mountain view off the deck and out of all the windows.

Easy drive up the mountain. Great parking for multiple cars. Beautiful views from front and back porches. The house was inviting and comfortable. Close to shuttle and so you don't have to drive into town. Quick and easy access to the park. Looking forward to our next trip there.

We only had a couple of days to visit, but we left feeling so relaxed and at peace. Everything worked as it should, cabin was very clean, and it was a very enjoyable stay. Other than previously noted extremely steep driveway, it was about perfect. We discovered that turning around at the end of the street and backing into the driveway was the way to go. We've decided that we need to come back next year, if not sooner! What a great place to reconnect, unwind, and getaway for a short while!

The service was excellent. The cabin was amazing! The road and driveway to get to the cabin was a little steep and we thought it killed our car....take the 4x4 advice seriously!! Overall...a great cabin and a great weekend away! Thanks!

This was our first trip to Gatlinburg and our first stay with MRG. The cabin was awesome! Everything was clean and ready when we showed up. The directions to get to the cabin were a little confusing but we were able to find it with no trouble. We both enjoyed the hot tub and just lounging around. We are already planning our next trip and will definitely rent from MRG again.

The cabin itself was nice but could definitely use some updating (bedding, sofas, etc.). It was a good deal for the price. It was very clean, and the hot tub was perfect.

My wife and I visited this cabin for our 1st wedding anniversary and couldn't have been happier! The cabin is absolutely amazing in every aspect. The comfy couch, the two fire places, the view, and the hot tub all made this cabin well worth the trip.

1. Need new cookware.Skillet and several of the pans had burn stuff in the bottom of them. Made it very difficult to cook breakfast. 2. Coffee filter with used coffee was left in the coffee maker. Had to be washed before we could use it. 3. 2 outlets to the right of the sink did not work. Had to move coffee pot to the other side to make coffee. Also could not plug in lights over sink. 4. Could not get one of the front burners on stove to work. Everything else was GOOD! Would recommend this cabin to anyone coming up for a week-end getaway. Had plenty of room. Very clean and neat.

Management response: Thank you for your review. Housekeeping has checked the cookware and the GFI outlets were reset. The burner was unplugged and has been plugged back in. I apologize for the coffee filter being left and the cleaners have been addressed.

I really enjoyed staying in the Bearly Rustic cabin. It was clean and secluded from the other cabins. That is what I enjoyed most was the privacy the cabin offered. I have always enjoyed renting from Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg as everyone is so friendly and helpful. I really enjoy the keyless entry as now you can go straight to the cabin and start enjoying your vacation. I will most definately rent from your company again and cant wait. The only one small detail of the cabin that could be worked on but is not a major deal is the pressure of the water in the shower. Is that enough to make me NOT rent this cabin again...NO.

I was very impressed with the unit we chose for a weekend getaway! I would highly recommend it to each and everyone of you. My family and I were looking for a quick get away to Gatlinburg. I found this cabin online and booked it in the same week. We have a two year old and the cabin is very toddler friendly! The hot tub temperature was too high but it only took one call and maintaince was out within an hour to fix. Great company to rent from and I would consider renting this cabin again.

First of all let me say that the pics on the website do not do this cabin justice! When looking for a cabin I was drawn to the authentic log homes as my father built hand crafted log homes and as decision time came we went with Lil Bit of Paradise and we couldn't be happier than we were to stay there. The ambiance of the wood burning fire place coupled with the 100+ year old timbers in the log home had me relaxed the very first day. The decor was nice and we really enjoyed sitting out on the deck and enjoying the peace and quiet (when our kids were sleeping!) This cabin is situated on a point and although there were other cabins within view we felt comfortably isolated, in fact when the leaves come in I would say that it would be completely isolated. The flat screen tv was very nice and the kids were in the hot tub everyday. Personally for me I would have like to have the temps in the hot tub go at least another 10 degrees higher but the cooler nights made it very enjoyable. The cabin was very roomy and the kids had space to play and run. We especially appreciated the fact that the slats on the rails on the deck were narrowly spaced so we did not worry about our youngest crawling around on the deck. The staff was very friendly and helped us beyond our expectations every time. This is the second time renting from Mountain Rentals and cannot imagine working with another company when we return to the area! The only thing (and believe me it is very minor) was that although the couches looked nice and matched the decor they were not all that comfortable and like I said we were hard pressed to find anything that was wrong with this rental. Had a great family vacation. Cabin was great to stay in for the week we were there. Felt at home, had everything we needed. Great view, especially from the hot tub.Would love to come back for our next vacation.

We thought this was an excellent chalet and would stay here again. Fairly secluded, nice view, spacious, well maintained, easy acces and great parking. If I had to come up with any negatives, the upstairs beds were a little too hard for our tastes and under certain weather conditions, the downstairs has a smoke odor from the fireplace. Some days it smelled strong and other days you could hardly notice it. All in all, one of the better chalets we have ever stayed at. Some nice touches were empty cabinets in the kitchen and bedrooms to give you a place to put your stuff away. I cant tell you how many chalets we have stayed at that dont have an empty cabinet in the kitchen.

Due to some problems to "NO" fault of the company nor myself we had to be moved from one cabin to another.. The staff worked with us finding us a cabin with everything we had wanted in the first cabin!! (I must add with a better view than the one I had chose myself!!) The staff made us feel right at home. The cabins were both very clean and comfortable.. The view was amazing and it was very relaxing.. The hot tub made for a very relaxing evening after a long day of hiking.. I would highly recommend Mountain Rentals to anyone.. We had a wonderful time!! Thank you Mountain Rentails..

We really enjoyed our trip to Gatlinburg, and our stay at the Lover's Loft was great. The cabin was real clean and cozy. Great location for walking to downtown. The only small complaint is the water pressure in the upstairs tub and shower. Would stay there again...

This cabin was in a very nice location near Arts and Crafts community. It was a great place to get away but still be near to many local attractions. Very nice place for a couple to spend some quality time together relaxing and enjoying the Gatlinburg area. We definitely recommend stopping by The Fox and Parrot Pub for dinner one night and checking out all the local artists and craftsmen.

Cabin was very nice and view was wonderful.The only compliant would be some of the appliances need updated, especially the fridge and furniture in the living room needs to be replaced.

First of all, Mountain Rentals was spectacular. They were prompt with all the paperwork and allowed me to add my dog and pay the proper fee when we got into town when I made a late decision to bring her. The people at the office were very nice and helpful. As for Mountain Glory 2, it was amazing. It was gorgeous. We lucked out coming in on a Monday, so it seemed as though we had the whole mountain to ourselves. We went out the first day, but spent the rest of our time at the cabin (more time in the hot tub than anything!!). It was very clean and beautifully decorated. I get very nervous about hot tubs being sanitary, but this one was in great shape. The cable worked fine, but we brought our XBox to watch Netflix and it hooked up to the tv fine. The only problem we had was the internet was very fickle. But the internet isn't really a major deal when you have nature and a beautiful cabin to enjoy. The kitchen was fully stocked and we ended up only going out for one meal and cooking in the rest of the time. I would highly recommend this company and this cabin. I reserved a month before the trip and everything went absolutely perfect. Thanks so much Mountain Rentals!!

This cabin makes you feel like a guest in someones home. The owners have taken the time to decorate and provide everything you need to make this a home away from home. As this is an authentic log cabin, the walls are very thin and you can hear everything. The driveway is difficult to turn around in as well.

This is a beautiful place to stay, the owners have taken care of every detail so you feel right at home. Although our stay at the cabin was cut short due to a reservation error, we enjoyed the time we spent at the cabin.

This was our third time at Black Eyed Susan, and we had another glorious week in the mountains. The location of this house is ideal as it sits between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We love the keyless entry and hope to return next year. Although the WiFi service was not good, our calls about it were answered quickly by the staff. Everything about this house is comfortable and welcoming to guests. Thank you, Mountain Rentals, for always treating us so well.

This was our first time renting a cabin and We are definitely glad to have rented Moonshine Run. The cabin was very spacious and it was well worth the money. Everything was super clean and well kept. As others have stated, the driveway is a tad steep, but it is still very manageable and it is easy to turn around. The view from the deck was awesome and the hot tub was in great shape. Having never rented a cabin, I was pleasantly surprised to find how well equipped the kitchen was. We had planned on eating out most of the time, but we decided to take advantage of the kitchen and spend more time cozied up. My only real complaint would be that we had a few waspy visitors in the upstairs bedroom, but they were not out of hand. This cabin was definitely a great value for the money and we definitely plan on returning.

This cabin (Magic Moments) was extremely clean - didn't find a speck of dirt, dust or anything out of place. They had provided PLENTY of towels and rags for our weekend stay, as well as stocked the cabin with plenty supplies, etc. The keyless entry was a great touch - we didn't have to go get a key or return one. The hot tub was ready for us to use, although we didn't have time. The jacuzzi was relaxing in the upstairs loft area. This cabin offers unlimited local and long distance, which is a nice touch to call family back home and not have to worry about cell signal going in and out. There's a nice pool table in a room behind the living area which was great. The drive to this cabin is a little bit steep (not bad) and up a road barely wide enough for our truck, but luckily, we didn't meet another vehicle on this road the entire weekend, so it wasn't an issue. The windows are super huge in the front of the cabin and when the sun shines in brightly, it shines right on you when you're relaxing on the couch. A slight tint might help the sun not be so bright right in your eyes - but again, not a big deal at all. The only minor issue we had was the TV is up so high that the remote control won't operate it from sitting on the couch - you have to stand up to change the channel and adjust the volume. If they could tilt the TV downward a little or mount it on a bracket on the fireplace, instead of it being inside an enclosure, it would be perfect. Overall - we would DEFINITELY recommend this cabin to anyone - we had no problems whatsoever, enjoyed ourselves and it was peaceful.

This was the second time staying with you. First time was Away from everything. This time was Away from it all. It was just as it says, away from it all. My wife and I travel on vacation at least 3 times a year. Both of our trips to your properties have been wonderful. We could not have had a more relaxing, wonderful, vacation. Everything was perfect, from your customer service, to the cleanliness, so beautiful and so very quiet. It was just what we needed. Thank you all so much! We had a great time staying in "Blessed Beyond Measure". The cabin was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. We loved it! The master suite was huge and so pretty. The master bath did not have a shower so we had to go downstairs but we really didn't mind. The kitchen is a little small but had every thing we needed... that was a 1st for us. I only wished that they had a regular size coffee maker. The one they had only made 4 cups (which is really 2 cups). We were making coffee all morning. Oh well, next time I will bring my own coffee maker and everything will be perfect! "Blessed Beyond Measure" is putting it lightly!

My wife and I loved the cabin. Period. The location, the view, couldnt have been better. Very good value for the price. Were already planning our anniversary for next year. Hoping to stay there again.

We have stayed at Nestled Inn many times and really enjoy it each time. It is so peaceful, not like the cabin "subdivisions" that are out there. No traffic noise, just beautiful views, and quiet mountain air! The perfect setting for a relaxing getaway.

The cabin was beautiful. The view was amazing. It was close enough to cabins in case of an emergency, but far enough away that you also got your privacy. We were very pleased with our reservation. The staff was extremely friendly. We did get lost finding the cabin, but that was blamed on GPS. We will definitely use Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg in the future!

I accidentally booked the wrong dates and I was scared that they wouldn't let me change on such a short notice but they did and were super nice about it! We loved the fact that we got never had to "check in/out" with someone. Overall a great experience!

My husband and I happened to come across Mountain Rentals by chance on an internet search and instantly fell in love with their rental prices. After deciding on what cabin we wanted to stay in we picked the Love Shack. Upon arrival it was beyond what we anticipated. The cabin was clean and well organized. You felt like it was a home away from home. We will definitely rent from Mountain Rentals again for future trips to Gatlinburg.

We enjoyed our weekend stay! Great cabin! Love the large spacious living area. Very open. And also enjoyed having our own rooms and bathrooms. Great for our 3 families. Also great outdoor area for the kids to play and walk the dog. Enjoyed the creek and view of the mountains. No other renters near by. Wish the cabin had internet but we survived. We definately rent this cabin again!

The view is awesome. We really enjoyed the outdoor fireplace at night. The cabin had everything we needed and the check-in/out procedure was very fast and simple. We will definitely be back!

Excellent stay. The location was perfect; though there are neighboring cabins it felt secluded. The most relaxing weekend I have had in years. Looking forward to returning soon.

The Silver Moon is a great little spot high up in the Smokies! What a view! The cabin is everything you hope for in a getaway to the mountains. Very nice clean cabin with all the amenities you will need.....and did I mention the view.

When looking for a place to stay my husband and I wanted a cabin with everything possible to do in it. We were getting married during our stay so we had people coming up for the wedding(mostly children) This chalet has everything you could possibly want except internet lol which was fine. My only recommendation would maybe be a tv in the master bedroom and possibly more up to date TVs in the cabin. I know vacations aren't for watching tv but a little bigger would be nicer. But overall I really enjoyed our stay at this cabin!

Cabin was nice and clean. Only thing that caught me by surprise was no washer/dryer (I didn't look initially to see if it had it, but all of my previous rentals in Gatlinburg have). Code on door expired shortly after 10am when checkout was 11am. I have had this issue before with these new locks and believe it is a timezone change issue. Luckily, someone was inside the cabin still and we did not become locked out during loading the car. Great location being north of Gatlinburg by a bit and being able to use the bypass to get into the park.

Over all a great place to stay a nice place to get away from everything would only change one thing and that would add more light to the inside a little dark inside at night hard to read and cook at night

This cabin was everything we hoped for! The views were breathtaking. The covered hot tub was fantastic. We enjoyed it while watching the snow fall! I would stay in this cabin again.

Had a terrific time in Gatlinburg and the cabin. It was warm for 2 days and then snowed the last night there. The kids (7 and 8 years old) loved the cabin, especially the hot tub!! Very clean with a marvelous view of the mountains!

I highly recommend this cabin - wonderful views, fantastic game room, and the perfect layout for two couples. The hot tub was fantastic and every small detail was taken care of. I especially loved how make-up remover packs were made available on every sink! This was a very pet-friendly location and our little dog really enjoyed her stay as much as we did. We'll definitely return!

had the chance to stay in cabin for our honeymoon and everything was so nice. The view was just breathtaking. Very close to all the attractions. Was not hard to find at all. The cabin was in tip top cleanliness. The only downside that my wife and i found is that the cabin didn't have any ceiling fans it is a cabin you can smoke in so ceiling fans or some kind of fans would have been nice. Other than that i would recommend this cabin and cabin company to anyone. Enjoyed the stay very much.

This was our first trip to Gatlinburg and our first cabin rental. What an amazing experience! The hot tub was secluded enough to enjoy in the evenings and the fireplace kept the cabin warm while we relaxed away from reality. Definitely will stay in this cabin again!

This cabin is amazing! The cabin is extremely clean, beautifully decorated, spacious, seclude from other cabins, and offers great parking. We stayed with another couple and it was nice having one suite upstairs and the other downstairs. I couldn’t think of any way to make the stay more enjoyable. The staff at Mountain Rentals is very helpful and had on the spot service when we needed it. Without a doubt we will rent from them again.

We enjoyed our stay, cabin was great with all the black bear decor, adorable! It snowed while we were there which was perfect and very much enjoyed the hot tub, and fireplace, very cozy cabin. It was a little dusty, but I guess to be expected with the fireplace. Overall a great little cabin.

This is the second cabin from your company that we have stayed at....and it was Perfect! This one will definitely have our reservation again. It was the perfect size for our family of 4, but could have fit more comfortably. The kids loved having their own king size beds and the layout of the house is ideal. We enjoyed the downstairs pool table, and the hot tub was in the perfect setting to look out at the mountains. Clean and comfortable, felt just like home!

This cabin was very clean and everything worked well inside and out. We really enjoyed it, and would not hesitate to stay in it again.

Black-eyed Susan is one of the best cabins that Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg rent. It is very clean inside and out and offers plenty of room for the entire family or group of friends. My second time at this cabin and will rent again in the future. I never want to leave Black-eyed Susan even to go into Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge...I could stay forever. The outside views of the mountains off the back porch are breathtaking and artistic. Such a great place to relax and enjoy the mountains. Overall nice place, warm and cozy! Great view and accomidations except the hottub was not working. I called the repair line and they came to check it. The water was cold. The next morning I tried using the hottub again. still cold... On the last day of our stay I once again attempted to use the hottub which was then boiling hot. Too hot to use. maybe if the cover would have been left off of it overnight it would have been usable... Hopefully next time I'll get to use the hottub

So dissapointed in the "hot" tub? We ended up not even being able to use the outdoor hot tub over our entire stay :( The cabin it's self was very nice and clean. But we had been looking forward to enjoying the mountain view from our "hot" tub. Which never happened. We called the maintanance office twice and front desk once because the water temp was ice cold from the time we arrived. It took an entire 24 hrs to warm up but then the jets weren't working. Which didn't matter to much considering the water was warm and still to cool to get in and enjoy. Both maintanace men came"fixed" the tub and left the cabin telling us it would take 4 hrs to fully heat. Only probleme was it didn't heat up past warm and the jets didn't work. Guest should not have to go without a "hot"tub that they were charged for for 4hrs let alone an entire 3 day stay...Overall disappointed

This was our first time renting a cabin. We have been coming to Gatlinburg for years, but never rented a cabin for our stay. We are so glad we did and had an amazing time at our own little cabin this time. The view was breathtaking and the hot tub outside was perfect too.. We will definitely stay at Falling Waters on all of our future visits!

Cabin was nice. Chairs are getting a little unstable and the bathroom sink drain wouldn't open correctly. But the tub and hot tub were very nice. Bed was spacious. Overall a really nice place and u feel very secluded.

I am writing this review almost a year after we stayed. The cabin was a great little get away for me and my wife. It is a little out of the way and the driveway leaves something to be desired but overall we give it 4.5 stars. The only issue we had at the time was the controls on the hot tub were severely worn out (not sure if this has been fixed since our stay) and the fill hose is a little hard to find but once located is actually in a pretty good location. Not sure if we would stay in this particular cabin again but will definitely rent from Mountain Rentals again.

The cabin was much nicer than the picture they really do not do justice to this cabin. This was our 32nd Anniversary and the Honemoon we never had. We could have not asked for anything better and really enjoyed the stay and hated to leave. We met the owners and they were just great.I would recommend this cabin to anyone that wants a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

I have rented from a few places in Gatlinburg Tennessee and this has been the best so far. The house was neat and well kept. The hot tub was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly.

We had another great weekend. The cabin was in a great location. Other cabins are real close but still felt away from everyone. The cabin stayed warm until the sun hit the thermostat. Then had to bundle up to stay warm. Once the sun went passed the thermostat, the heat pump worked overtime to heat it back up. My wife went to wash the dishes and the dishwasher was broken. And the ice maker has some issues. All in all, we did like our stay, and you can walk to the strip.

I had a wonderful experience at Bear it All. I loved the location, and wasn't too far up in the mountains.

This was the first time we rented a cabin and we would certainly do this again. After looking at many of the cabins online we decided to go with the Artist Nest. We were so happy with our choice. The cabin was truly even better than the pictures on the website. We were so suprised with how at home we felt. The cabin did not lack anything. The kitchen was supplied with everything you could possibly need, there were plently of blankets, games, movies, fire wood etc. We did not have any problems with anything not working properly. The view of the mountains was beautiful. I agree with the other guests that the driveway was steep but no more so than a lot of the other rentals. Another thing that I was pleased with was the rental agency. The reservation, check in and check out could not have been simpler. Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg really does a nice job of making things easy for their guests. We will be back again soon.

The best cabin by far! Very good supply of dishes and cookware. Fireplaces very romantic! Hours of fun with pool table. Awesome view and very large porch. I am very pleased and have already have friends booking in the fall for this cabin.

This was our first stay in Sweetheart's Retreat. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We didn't use the hot tub which was a little disappointing. The location of the hot tub did not provide complete privacy from the cabin across the road. We loved the keyless entry & not having to stop in at the office at check in or check out.

i chose this cabin for my fiance and i because he is a combat wounded iraq vet and i thought the hot tub and jacuzzi tub would be wonderful for his back. we never got to use the hot tub because it was ice cold and would never warm up. it took nearly 20 minutes to get the water warm enough for a shower. the road to the cabin was terrible! i wanted to share my favorite vacation spot with my fiance since he has never been to Gatlinburg before...we were both very disappointed.

Management response: I am so sorry you were disappointed in your stay. Anytime you have problems please call and let us know so we may fix it. I will have Maintenance check it as well as the hot water heater. The roads are city maintained and some can be quite difficult. Again I apologize for the issues during your stay.

Checking in and out was very easy, the staff was very friendly. The cabin was clean, the bed was comfortable,the fireplace was nice,and the view was wonderful. I liked that the cabin is secluded. The only two things I would recommend would be to put a blind on the back door and replace the old, small, outdated television. Other than those two things, I would say the stay was wonderful.

My husband and I love this cabin, and have been returning to it yearly for 5 years for our anniversary. We love the privacy, decor, and easy checkin/out this year was fantastic. Our only problem ever has been with the firewood. This year it burned well but we ran out twice. In the previous years it was too green and we had a lot of trouble getting it to burn at all. Otherwise, I could not be more please and look forward to returning next year.

The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The bed slept great, and we really enjoyed the screened porch and rocking chairs. The decor was nice - not over the top. I appreciated the covered parking and the fact that this cabin was not on the side of a mountain. We were still elevated and had a view, but we didn't feel like our kids would fall off a cliff if they went outside. It would be impossible to access in ice, but we had great weather. There was a mountain view in winter, but summer leaves would prevent seeing past the back yard, which was beautiful in its own right. My only complaint was that there were not enough blankets. My son slept on the couch and had only sheets to keep warm, so we had to slide the couch over next to the fireplace each night.

My husband and I spent our 10th anniversary here and couldn't have asked for a nicer cabin. It was very quiet and peaceful. The house is very nice and cozy. The furnishings are beautiful and inviting. We had a wonderful time!! The view is great and the outdoor fireplace adds to the feeling that you are away from it all! We have stayed with other companies in the past and by far Mountain Rentals takes great care of their cabins and customers.

Beautiful Cabin - LOTS of room, comfortable beds. We had teenagers so it was nice to have the extra beds, arcade and hot tub downstairs. We came in late on Friday so it was a little confusing to find - the road winds up, up, up - we were grateful for good weather - might have been tough in snow. We have rented three times and this was our favorite cabin.

My wife and I have made Gatlinburg our yearly "long weekend get-a-way" for a few years now. Every year we try out a new cabin, but I think we may have found our new home away from home. The cabin was very clean, kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances, the wifi had great signal and was super fast, and the wood burning fireplace was beautiful and well stocked with dry wood. My wife was able to enjoy the Jacuzzi (I couldn’t due to a recent surgery) and our two young children (6 months & 25 months) had plenty of room to spread out and play. The location was very close to town and the grocery store is right around the corner. The only issues I had (and this is being very petty) is that the TV’s are pretty small (but GREAT picture quality and I’m spoiled having a 60’ at home) and the toaster charred a couple of my bagels (till I kept a close eye on it). Take my word for it… you won’t find a cabin this nice at this price anywhere in the Gatlinburg/Pidgin Forge area. We will definitely be coming back to this one!

Upon arrival and entering the cabin, the decor was so warm and welcoming. It just invites you in. The views were great! The cabin was very clean (and I am picky) and everything in excellent order. We loved our time in the mountains during the day and playing pool and soaking in the hot tub at night after a long day at play. Away From it All is an excellent cabin to rent, and the keyless remote check in saved time that our family could get to enjoying their vacation!! We did not want to come home! Oh, and Ron the maintence tech was super nice! They had to relight the fireplaces due to the gas being turned off by the utility company for a leak further up the mountain. Everyone was awesome!!!!

We spent our 16th anniversary in the Lofty Dreams chalet. The unit was very clean and the customer service was excellent. We enjoyed the flat screen TV in the living room and thought the outdoor fireplace made our time in the hot tub more romantic. Our overall experience with Mountain Rentals made for a great getaway and wonderful memories. We would recommend this chalet, and will definitely stay with Mountain Rentals again. The experience in overall was great. The cabin is big, organize, with simple but charming decoration, and very clean. We did have a little inconvenience with the dishwasher but we call the maintainence team and they got there quickly to fix it. If your are planning on cooking for ten people, the amount of pans and pots is very limited. We also did not have a kitchen sponje, so that is something you will have to add on your list to take to the cabin. All the couples loved the cabin, the view is wonderful. This cabin is very close to Ober ski resort and also to downtown Gatlinburg.

We absolutely loved our stay in Cloud 5. Our kids, aged 12 and 10 would have happily stayed in the cabin the whole week and never left. Plenty to do, games, pool, air hockey, awesome deck with great view of mountains. SUPER clean and just felt like home. We had been there 20 minutes and had some steaks on the grill when I went out to check on them and there was the neighborhood BEAR RIGHT off the patio! (so look before you go out the door!) Very exciting. We saw the bear a few more times down by the dumpster (which is locked) and in the neighbor's yard across the street. Super friendly neighbors as well. We sat on our porch every morning drinking coffee and looking at the mountains. We couldn't have been more pleased. It was very large for the 4 of us, but for the great price you can't go wrong. It has been 7 months and we still miss our cabin in the mountains!!

This was our 6th time using Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg and our third stay in the Silver Moon cabin. We just love the view and the overall feel of Silver Moon. We hardly left the cabin. It felt like we had the mountain side all to ourselves. From sitting in front of the fireplace to relaxing in the hot tub, it was a wonderful weekend away. So peaceful and beautiful. We will definitely return to Silver Moon and would highly recommend the cabin to anyone looking for a cozy cabin with a wonderful view.

Our Winter Weekend Getaway was wonderful! Our stay in "Bearly Rustic" was just the relaxing, private time that my husband and I needed. The location between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge was perfect for easy access to both cities.

We loved staying here. The house was so clean and organized. The owners really care about their visitors because they have games for all ages, movies and books. I could live there. I would recommend the Artist Nest to anyone...even with the steep drive.

This cabin was excellent! When you consider the overall ameneties of the cabin and the incredible view this cabin is a steal! Will definitely be back!

Rented this chalet for a long weekend getaway - after the holidays shopping and relaxation! It was darn near perfect! Comfortable, cozy and convenient! This was our 4th January to rent, but our first year to rent "Forget Me Not." Delightful! Every convenience in the kitchen that you have at home. Movies and adequate TV hleped on the rainy days. All in all, a very pleasant experience!

This was our first time staying in a cabin in the Smokies. This is a beautiful cabin with beautiful scenery and very romantic. Clean and the setting was great. I recommend this to anyone.

We had a really great time in Gatlinburg and enjoyed the cabin very much. It was super clean and actually better than expected. The only negative thing I can even think about is the steep driveway. My wife is deathly afraid of heights and she hated the drive up the slick narrow roads up the mountain side.(as it rained some while we were there)but after arriving she loved it. The place was very comfortable and relaxing. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice clean, relaxing get away, and definately drive a 4 wheel drive vehicle if going in the winter time.

We had a wonderful weekend at the cabin. We got there Friday night and didn't leave the cabin til Sunday morning. Awesome alone time. I would only change one thing about the cabin. I would add a privacy screen on the other side of the deck. We didn't have neighbors but had there been someone staying there, we would not have been comfortable enjoying the hot tub. My boyfriend and I decided on this cabin for a weekend getaway. The price is VERY appealing and I can assure you 100% that it is well worth it. The express check in was extremely convenient, we didn't have to talk to anyone which left us more time to enjoy the cabin. The view is spectacular, the cabin is clean and cozy and the location is perfect. I will certainly be staying here again!

This was a very nice place to stay, and it was well decorated. Plenty of games and activities and the owners even left us some home baked cookies on our door step which was a very nice touch of southern hospitality. A very thoughtful and appreciated gesture. Definitely a cut above!

Nice comfortable cabin. While decking was a nice and necessary part of this cabin, I didn't realize the distance I would have to carry items to get to the cabin. Being in a winter environment (very light snow had covered all decking and steps and turned to ice after walking across it for several trips) had to use extreme caution navigating the decking and steps. This could be a major problem for some potential guests. While the marketing material states that "Custom multi-leveled decking greets you from the driveway and leads you all the way up to the front door of this hidden mountain treasure", I was surprised at the distance from the driveway to the door. Except for that, location was convenient to get out and go to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge very quickly.

THE ONLY THING IS THAT WE HAD A COOLER ON THE BACK DECK AND WE HAD ITEMS TAKEN FROM THAT COOLER THAT IS A LITTLE DISTURBING THAT SOMEONE WAS AT THE CABIN WHEN WE WERE GONE OR WHEN WE WERE SLEEPING OVER ALL I WOULD DO IT AGAIN

Management response: I'm not sure what kind of cooler it was but there is an alternative explanation - raccoons - they are very crafty and have been known to tote away items much larger than one would expect! We hope you enjoyed your stay and you visit us again soon!

The cabin was nice, great view and comfy couches and beds. The hot tub was great for relaxation. Also loved the huge, huge tub!! The only thing that would have been better would have been another tv downstairs! Overall, great place - zero complaints! Would definitely stay there again.

My wife and I and our 15 month old daughter stayed in John David for our 4 year anniversary. I would have to say that it was a good time. I can see how some people say that the lighting is low but, we found it good lighting and not crazy bright. We enjoyed our stay and would stay with Mountain rentals again in the future. The only complaint I would have is that the hot tub was set at a low temp, that was not inviting for someone with the outside temp at 30. If you could change it, it would have been better and then we could of utilize the hot tub. Other than this, 2 thumbs up!

We enjoyed our stay at Bearantics overall. There were a few issues we had with the parking at the unit and the hot tub was broken, but overall it was a good little getaway and the staff at Mountain Rentals went out of their way to ensure that our issues were addressed. Our stay was wonderful! Cozy cabin and very clean. It had everything we needed. It was nice to stay in a quiet location in the mountains, but close enough to skiing and restaurants. My kids, husband I had a great time! We can't wait to get back!

We had a great time at Mount Vista. We were a little disappointed that the pool table is not regulation size. We didn't even use it. Normally, we spend a lot of time shooting pool in the evenings. We still had plenty of fun playing cards and using the hot tub. After 20 years of coming to Gatlinburg, we finally got to see it snow. This made the trip even more special. The kitchen stove seems to be on its way out...time to think about replacing it. There was very little water pressure. We had to stagger our showers and this ran us late doing some things. Overall, we loved the place and worked around the water pressure thing. We would stay at Mount Vista again if we needed a large number of bedrooms again. We kind of like moving around and experiencing different cabins. We keep coming back to Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg. They always do us right! We drive through our North Carolina mountains every time and stay with MRG. Thanks for another wonderful 3 night stay with you guys.

Nice chalet with good accommodations. Plenty of linens. Kitchen is stocked pretty good but we always take a griddle for a croud. Parking is a pain. Chalet is on a high hill with poor parking space. Not far from Gatlinburg but horseshoe turns to get to it. The view is awsome when you get there.

Overall, it was a great experience. We called maintenance many times, and always got prompt and excellent service. He was very kind. They salted our driveway so we could get out and brought us firewood. When we didn't understand the hot tub, he came and explained it to us. The only negative things were: 1)That I had to call to get the directions and security code. 2)You definately need to post directions for the hot tub. 3)There were things that were broken when we got there, but they got fixed. 4)Provide detergent if guests have to launder the towels when they leave.

Our stay at Chelsea's Mountain was very nice. We took 8 teenagers and two adults and there was plenty of room for all of us. We attended a youth conference in Gatlinburg and the kids were not bored during the down time because of the games and hot tub. I would definetly recommend your cabin!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and my wife loved so I rented it for our fourth anniversary even with other cabins around it is still very private it could use some upgrades but for all and all its a great cabin that we love

Love renting from Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg. Always pleased with my cabin.

While the cottage is about what we expected size wise, it was missing the small things you would expect, like there was no salt & pepper in the shakers, there is no baking/broiler pan for the oven to cook with, there was no matches or lighter for the fire place, no kindling wood for the fire place, none of the ice trays had been filled. These things are small but make a big difference when the cottage is 10 miles out and the roads leading into town are typical of the Smoky Mountains, steep and very curvy! Please don't get me wrong though, it is a nice litte cabin just more attention to detail would make a huge difference!

We had an opportunity for a long weekend getaway. We were very pleased with the service we received before, during, and after our stay. It was a great location, secluded but just a few miles from the heart of Gatlinburg. The cabin itself was great. Everything was clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely come back to visit!

Unit is primarilly for 1 family of 4 or less people. Unit was nice and would stay there again, excellent value for the price.

Great cabin, loved being able to see the fireworks from the deck. A little disapointed the hot tub was just being refilled as we arrived and had to wait until the next day to use it. Cabins were a bit close and gave a feeling of overcrowding. We loved being so close to town that we could drop the kids off for them to do their 'thing'. We would most likely ask for this cabin again.

My family thoroughly enjoyed the house in the mountains. The view was breath taking and the accomadations were very comfortable. Will book again in 2012.

The cabin was nice with a hot tub and pool table. Also the main TV has been upgraded to a flat screen and is larger than the one in the picture. Also the unit is close to the bypass so it makes it easier to get around. The only downside is that its in a village of cabins so its not as remote as some others.

We had a wonderful extended weekend at Mountain Star with our family over the New Year Holiday! The cabin was beautiful and was decorated for Christmas as promised. We exchanged gifts while we were there so it was great to have a tree. My children were in love with the basement and the fireplaces. Some of the mattresses were like sleeping in bowls and the kitchen lighting needs help. We cooked alot while we there (cabbage and black eyed peas are a must have on New Year's) and there needs to be an over-the-sink light installed really bad but if your not there to cook then it wont affect your visit. Bring food storage containers with you for leftovers if you plan on cooking as well. Also I know that the view from this cabin is a big selling feature but more curtains or blinds on the main level would help tremendously with the sun especially in the mornings. We were blinded by the reflections off the walls, floors, and other windows until after noon. We hope to be back in the future and would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking to visit Gatlinburg. It was the perfect size, layout, and location. Just 5 minutes to downtown (& the Pancake Pantry)!

Good parking but a very steep climb getting to the cabin. You do NOT back out of the driveway, a big plus. Other than the steep climb you shouldn't be dissapointed, pretty nice cabin.

My husband and I had a marvelous time at the Hideaway Honeymoon cabin in Gatlinburg. We loved all of the Christmas decorations, which made it feel homey and way better than staying in a hotel. We enjoyed the views, especially from the hot tub! There were plenty of amenities and provisions so that all we needed was stop at the grocery store. Two minor things: the firewood was wet (not green, just wet). Also, you might consider adding instructions for the DVD player. There was a nice collection of DVDs but we couldn't figure out the remotes. We hope to stay again in the future.

We love the location right on the creek and close to everything. The unit needs some work, updating, etc. The beds are not comfortable. It could certainly use a bigger television. But we will be back there next year because of the layout and location.

This is our 2nd time renting with Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg. Loved the check in procedure this time! Not having to go to the office and wait in line to check in. Door code and travel directions were emailed a few days before you a scheduled to arrive, so you can go straight to the cabin call a number upon arrival and departure. That easy! The cabin was nice enough nothing fancy but clean and very comfortable. We were a little frightned with the steep road to the cabin and had it been icy it would have been impossible to drive down it. reminded me a bit of a roller coaster.We very much enjoyed our week in the cabin. We enjoyed coming back in the evenings and relaxing in the hot tub looking at the beautiful lights below. Our main issue as someone else had stated was the lack of a washer and dryer which was very much needed with a 7 night stay.

We loved the Cajun Spice, the kids enjoyed the decor and made our Christmas so special. We loved how we felt secluded but could still see other cabins near. It felt like home and and spacious and the pathway to the creek was great for the kids. There will be no hesitation that we will stay here again and making reservations and getting everything set up was as easy as 1,2,3. I highly recommend this cabin for families. great location!!!!!

We did have a wasp in our room one night and found a bug crawling in our bed. I know it's out in the woods, but we had all the doors and windows locked and closed. Jordan LOVED the shower. He said he didn't want to leave cause all of it was amazing. We were in awe when we first walked into the cabin. There really wasnt any way to park safely at the cabin. We had to park right next to the house, but I feel like someone could have hit us very easily if they were staying at the house next to us. I had thought it was secluded, as in no houses around, but it wasn't, but we were ok with it when we got there because of how beautiful the view and the cabin was. The jacuzzi was amazing, but we had a hard time fitting both of us in there comfortably. All in all we had an amazing time stayin there and we definitely would stay there again. I loved it and so did Jordan. Well worth the money.

Management response: All of our rentals are on monthly pest control treatments, but occasionally you will encounter a few insects. I have contacted pest control to check the home. Parking can be tight at some of the homes, but there has yet to be any issues. Next time please call one of our reservationist if you are unsure of the location of a property - they all know the properties well and can assist you. If you are online the Virtual Tour is helpful as well. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and we do hope you return to Mountain Rentals soon!

this cabin description is right on. while the driveway will give you heart palputations it is well worht the view.you can see the lights of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. OberGatlingburg is awesome at night when your siting in your hot tub on the front porch. the only negative i have is the hot tub motor is loudbut that hum will just lull you on to slep when time. if you like quite romantic moments with your spouse, this is the spot to be. it is secluded above the other cabinsyou cna see other cabins but you are very private and can have very romantic nights.

WE HAVE STAYED AT FORGET ME NOT BEFORE, AND REALY LIKE THIS RENTAL UNIT. VERY SPACIOUS, THE BEDROOMS ARE HUGE AND THE LIVING ROOM IS VERY COMFORTABLE. THE DRIVE TO THE UNIT IS NICE AND THE PARKING BY THE CABIN IS QUITE LARGE. WE HAVE MADE RESERVATIONS WITH MOUNTAIN CHALETS SINCE DAY ONE, AND HAVE HAD AT LEAST 20 STAYS WITH THEM. THEY ARE THE BEST GROUP OF PEOPLE TO WORK WITH, WE HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE. I KNOW THEY ARE GETTING MORE AUTOMATED, BUT I HAVE TO ADMIT I KINDA MISS THE NICE PERSON TO PERSON CONTACT IN THERE OFFICE. THE LAST FEW TIMES WHEN I WALKED INTO THERE OFFICE TO PICK UP MY PAPERWORK, THEY GREETED MY BY MY NAME WITHOUT ME EVEN SAYING WHO I WAS, AND THAT GIVES YOU A GREAT FEELING. our stay was great in every way. was christmas gift , anniversary , and birthday all together and couldnt have asked for a better trip. thank you for offering such nice cabins with reasonable rates.

We spent most of the time visiting relatives in other chalets and the city of Gatlinburg, so we did not spend as much time in the hose as we would have liked. The set up was perfect, as was the choice of flooring and bedding. We are a bit put off by units that have mainly dark carpet and were relieved to find clean flooring. The only thing missing is that we were left with no dishwashing sponge and/or basic condiments like salt and pepper, or even sweeteners other than sugar. All in all, we were impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the house which is our main concern. Thanks! Miroslav and Nathalie Hristov

My wife and I stayed the weekend of New Years, we found the cabin to be an excellent value, very clean, and exactly as described on the internet. This is not our first time staying in a cabin in the mountains but by far the best value we have found. Our cabin was a few years old but very well maintained, and again an excellent value for the money. We will definitely use Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg again in the future. I would recommend this cabin and company to anyone.

My husband and I stayed in the Forever cabin for our 1 year anniversary. Everything was perfect! From the second you walk in the door, you feel relaxed. The hardest part was having to leave such a wonderful place. We will definitely be staying at this cabin again in the future!

My boyfriend and I decided to travel for Christmas instead of buying gifts this year! We stayed in this cabin and would absolutely stay here again! We both enjoyed that it was the last house in the bunch so we were further away from everyone else. The only complaint I have is that the hot tub would not warm up!! So, thankfully the cabin had a jacuzzi tub! which was very nice I will add. Over all, our stay here was great :)

My husband and I celebrate every anniversary in a cabin rented from MRG. This 5th year was no exception. We weren't sure we'd get to stay due to our budget. Luckily, this beautiful cabin was inexpensive and exactly what we wanted. The cabin was extra clean, warm, comfy and private. It was a very happy anniversary!

This cabin was very nice, tastefully decorated, beautiful mountain views, wood burning fireplace and outdoor hot tub. However, I do not have a 4 wheel drive vehicle and I would be afraid to book this cabin in the winter without it in case there is any snow and/or ice. The driveway and road leading to the driveway are both very steep. I would definitely stay there again in the spring, summer or fall but not during the winter.

My husband and I stayed at Comin' Home several years ago and loved it. After hearing about the New Year festivities that Gatlinburg has every year, we decided to come back and bring our children. We made sure to book early so that we could stay at Comin' Home again, because we enjoyed the cabin so much. Just as last time, we loved the cabin and had a great stay! The cabin is so quiet and peaceful, which is what we love so much about it. It also has plenty of room, so that you feel like you are at home. There were two minor things that could be improved. The first was that there was not enough hot water. I don't recall having this problem last time, so I'm not sure if a new water heater has been put in or why there was a problem this time. The jacuzzi was pretty much unusable because there was not enough hot water to fill it up. If no other water had been used for a while, then you could barely get it just past the jets, so that you could at least get in, but it wasn't enough water to be able to relax in. We would also run out of hot water if more than 2 people tried to take showers right after each other (even very short showers), or if you tried to wash dishes or clothes while taking a shower. The second issue was that they changed the bathrooms since the last time we were there. They took one of the showers (which I believe had a tub as well) out. That leaves the cabin with only one shower (and a VERY tiny one at that), and no bath tub (besides the jacuzzi) which is too large to try to bath a toddler in, or to jump in if you are trying to get ready quickly. These were both just very minor inconveniences though, just thought the info may want to be passed along for the owner to think about. Despite those things, we had a WONDERFUL stay, and would definitely come again if the opportunity arises. And as always, our experience with Mountain Rentals was fabulous. The website is easy to use, the service is fast, and the prices are the best around!

We liked the close proximity to Gatlinburg and Pigion Forge areas. The location had a feeling of living in the woods.The log construction kept the outside noise levels to a minimum.

It was awesome being on the edge of the river. The upper and lower porches with outside seating was very enjoyable. The cabin was decorated very nicely, the bed in the master was comfortable and the twin beds were perfect for the kids but the greatroom furniture (sofa & loveseat) is in need of being replaced. Do not plan to use the sleeper sofa because it is in very poor condition. The owner had left homemade pumpkin bread and jelly which was delicious. The unit was a little difficult to find because the GPS took us to the side of Grant Rd that had been blocked by the fence. Would like to have more detailed driving directions on the email instead of link to Google maps. Everyone that I spoke with when making reservations and also when having problems locating the cabin were extremely polite and professional. Missed not having a HOT TUB but enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed staying in Above the Clouds. Used the fireplace everyday and night. Bed was super comfy...slept like a baby. A really nice place to just relax!

Excellent cabin! Great location with convenience to town & access to the park is quick and do not have to go through traffic of downtown.

This Cabin had it all and then some. My whole family united at this cabin and the 11 of us were very comfortable with the cabin and the space. We enjoyed it all. We got to share a memory of the Cardinals Baseball Team (we are from St. Louis) win the world series in the basement game room together! Had a blast and will return again sometime hopefully soon.

We have stayed in Mount Vista 3 different times. It has always been a very good experience. My Dad is in a wheelchair and the staff at Mountain Rentals has always made his stay a pleasant one. They have helped us work around his wheelchair in several ways. I have many memories with this cabin. I am sure that there will be many more to come. I feel so at home as soon as we pull into the drive. Thank you staff of Mountain Rentals for making our family have such lasting memories.

we were disappointed with The Tower. the master bathroom upstairs had a leak that came through the ceiling in the living room downstairs. the wall paper was worn in the kitchen and the living room looked like some wallpaper border half way up the wall had been removed and had left spots on the wall. the tv stand was missing a leg. we have stayed most of our 20 plus years with Mountain Rentals or the previous owners and this is the worst one we have rented. There are not tvs in the bed rooms. The Tower had a good location and a good view of downtown.

Management response: Maintenance has fixed the caster on the TV stand and repaired the wallpaper issues. We were not aware of the leak and it is being checked. You are correct, there are not TV's in the bedrooms of this home. Thank you for letting us know about the issues during your stay. We hope to see you in the future, as you are a valued guest!

Back in October we made the decision to 'runaway' for the week of Christmas to enjoy some rest and to reflect on the reason for the season. We wanted to do something other than the traditional holiday agenda with kids and grandkids, other family, decorating and shopping. So with that in mind I searched the internet and found Mountains Rentals of Gatlinburg. I loved how I could see inside each cabin with the virtual tour in addition to the photographs. I eventually made my decision. The internet access and hot tub being the two main factors contributing to my choice. As time grew near we became more and more excited about our new holiday adventure. We drove in from Missouri and then stopped in at the rental office before finding our way to the cabin, the staff were very helpful and very friendly. Even though the website said we could just go straight to the cabin I am glad we stopped at the rental office for directions and also to locate the nearest grocery store. Gatlinburg was much more busy than I had anticipated but soon we were on our way to the cabin. It was very easy to find and when we pulled up the driveway and saw the cabin we fell in love with it. The best part of the whole trip was seeing my husband's face as we entered the cabin and explored what would be our new 'digs' for the next week. He was so very impressed with everything. To say he was happy would be an understatement. He loves cabins and really liked this one! Now, onto the details of the cabin. It was much more spacious than I thought it would be. The hot tub was awesome and we used it several times a day. Halfway through our stay they recommended having it serviced, and so we did. The only downside was that it took until the next morning until it was completely heated up again. So out of seven nights we only had one night in which we couldn't use the tub. That was quite alright with us. I used it every morning at daybreak and it was wonderful. They stocked the shed outside full of cut firewood and we had plenty for the whole week. We built a lot of fires! We were hoping for snow but luckily it didn't because (as they recommended) we did not have a four-wheel drive and our driveway was fairly steep even though it is paved. If weather had been bad we would have had some struggles with travel. My favorite part...the decor! It was absolutely fun. Everywhere I looked there was some wonderful piece of decor or antique. It was great. The home is beautifully decorated, but if you want fancy and modern this would not be the place for you. It was very comfortable and very very cozy. Kitchen was great, all appliances worked fine, plenty of dishes, coffee pot and dishwasher available. There is a wrap around porch on two sides of the cabin with really cool handmade wooden furniture. We had several 'picnics' out on the porch area. There was a big screen tv and the only negative was that the sound faded in and out (you could still hear it though) when we played movies. I don't know why it did that, but that was about the only negative of the whole trip. Out of the entire trip we only spent a couple of hours in Gatlinburg because we did not want to leave the cabin. We will most definitely come back. Next time we might take in a few adventures in town. They have lots to do there! We had a blast staying in this cabin!! We had family pool night and the kids loved it, although they never did quite get the concept of using the white ball to hit the others!! We spent most evenings enjoying the hot tub watching the stars. The view was very nice. We watched the clouds skip across the mountain tops making some very interesting shapes. Overall this has been one of the best family vacations and we plan to definatly do it again!!
