The chili cookoff is so much fun. wev'e been about five times now and love watching the lights and fireworks. not to mention the great chili you will eat! Rent a cabin and relax,if this dosen't put you in the christmas mood, nothing will,personally i stay in the holiday mood every day watching the cam and wishing i were there,you will remember a gatlinburg trip forever. The Chili Cookoff was so much fun. The weather was absolutely beautiful and the people were so nice - just an all around great atmosphere! I popped popcorn throughout the evening, but I had no idea how popular it would be. Our extra fresh popcorn that was popped to perfection, of course I was making it so you know it had to be good :>), had people standing in line waiting for it. It got to the point when the first kernel began to pop we were cheering and laughing…it was pretty funny. Anyway, I cannot wait until next year and I promise to rent a bigger popcorn machine!

Sorry we missed the chili cookoff, it looked like a blast. You don't want to miss the New Year's Ball Drop though, it will probably be a bigger party than the chili cookoff.
