Excellent Service – Part 1

Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg has built its foundation on professionalism, quality rentals and a courteous staff. 
We take Surveys from each of our guests and enter them into a computer program that can generate reports for us.  This lets us see how we are doing and gives our guests a chance to win a trip on us!  The results are in!

Out of 4,416 Guests:
96% of our guests would stay with us again!
93% of our guests have rated our cleanliness good-excellent!
97% of our guests have rated our promptness of service good-excellent!

The tireless efforts of our Housekeeping and Maintenance staff has not gone unnoticed.  We have a wonderful Housekeeping staff with very efficient inspectors and a great group of cleaners. They treat each home as their own and are very detailed oriented from the guest check in to their check out.  Our maintenance staff is equally as efficient and quick to respond to our guests needs.  Thanks to all of you!

Dear Sir/Madam:
 I just wanted to take this opportunity to express my gratitude in the assistance in retrieving my wallet and its full contents.  Your actions in regards in this matter exemplify the treatment that we received during our entire stay.  Your staff was extremely courteous and helpful to us on several occasions. 

 For example, within one hour of our maintenance call concerning the air conditioning a technician was out and fixed the problem.  Of course, the retrieval of my wallet, license and credit card was a great relief.  I will always feel free to highly recommend your services.

The reason we will not stay in one of your cabins is all the fees. Reservation fee, cleaning fee, pet fee,fee fee. You have a fee for everything. Your cabins are as high or higher than anybody else's to begin with and then when you tack on all the myriad fees its just freaking ridiculous. The cabin we stayed in was one of the poorer places we've stayed in Gatlinburg and was priced in the medium range for a tiny worn out pathetic hole in the wall. We stayed in a competitor's cabin last time for much less money in a much nicer cabin. You people are just too damn high for what you offer.

I am sorry you had such a bad experience with our company.  Did you contact the office during your stay to let them know you were unsatisfied with your rental?  We try to accommodate our guests by moving them to another available cabin or by resolving issues with the existing cabin.  

Our pricing structure does not fluctuate during Holidays or Peak Season; we have the same rates year round and our prices are lower or equal to that of our competitors.

               As far as fees go we charge a Damage Waiver fee of $25.00 to protect our owners and guests in the event something is accidentally broken as opposed to authorizing $500.00 on your credit card or charging you for items after your stay.  These incidents do happen and you are covered for any damages up to $1500.00.  There is also a Reservation fee of $30.00. These are the only two standard fees Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg charges any of our guests and they are explained at the time of your reservation.  We do not charge a Cleaning Fee or Hot Tub Fee for any of our reservations. A Pet Fee is charged if you bring your pet to cover additional cleaning and wear and tear on the home.  If you travel with pets frequently you will find this charge applies to almost all Lodging establishments.  Travel Protection is offered on all rentals, but this is an optional purchase.
