Description

This traditional style 2 bedroom, 2 level chalet is a wonderful pick for your next vacation to Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains. Located at the end of a private gravel driveway, this chalet will give you ample seclusion as well as wonderful views of the Smoky Mountains and the valley below all year round. Almost the entire Tennessee side of the Smoky Mountains can be seen from the chalet; stretching from Mount Cammerer in Cosby, TN to Mount Harrison (Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort)/Cove Mountain in Gatlinburg, TN.

Entering the chalet from the comfort of the home's covered parking, you'll venture into the fully-equipped kitchen with dining space for 4. This area opens into the spacious living room, complete with gas fireplace, satellite TV, & VCR. You'll notice that the home features hardwood surfaces throughout, giving the home an added touch of elegance. From the living room, step onto the top deck that has a patio set and 2 rocking chairs for enjoying the terrific view. Back inside, on the same level, is the home's first of two bedrooms furnished with a queen bed and a walk-in closet that connects to this floors full bath. These bedrooms are furnished in a comfortable southern style with simple throws on the floor and cozy spreads on the beds. The bath is extra large and is where you'll find the chalet's laundry facilities. Going downstairs, you enter the home's den with a 2nd gas fireplace, satellite TV, and the home's large 4 person Jacuzzi with extra seating around it. From the den, you can exit to the lower patio that has the hot tub with more views of the Smokies. Also, this floor's bedroom is the same as the first, with the exception of the hardwood flooring and also has access to the downstairs full bath.

This mid sized home is the key ingredient for making your Gatlinburg vacation a getaway to remember.

The view from this cabin is great. The road up to the cabin is new, not steep. Drive is long but wide and in good shape. About five minutes to town. We like the covered parking. The cabin is good size with lots of room. Spent most of the time on the two decks. Hot tub was just the right temperature. Cabin is in good shape. Just the right place to get away from it all for a while. We are already looking forward to the next time. Mountain Rentals were great, just like always. The cabin didn't have internet but the lady at the office invited me to use their computer and printer in the office. No bears this time. We will be back soon.

Stayed there for 4 days, couldn't imagine better view as well as the cabin! Looks little bit old, but you will realize that it is only at the beginning. Good AC/Heating system, good Hot Tub, Nice pool table....and of course view! This is the moment in the life where u and the nature become together as one! Enjoy...

Nice Peaceful Location

Great location off 321 just outside of town. Easy to get to and no worries about road steepness for cars. The back patio had a great view of the mountains and with a spotting scope, you could see the lodge on top of Mt. Leconte.
