Description

The excitement has now become a reality as you locate the perfectly manicured drive, complete with a split rail fence that guides you along, to your long awaited getaway.

As you walk hand in hand to the steps of Sweet Surrender you are greeted immediately by a view that appears to have been painted just for your arrival. You will first enter the main floor living area that has a full kitchen and the living room. The light shines through the massive windows and lights the space with a warm glow that makes the cathedral ceilings dance with light. There is cozy seating, including a sofa and two recliners, for evenings spent catching up on movies or if you prefer just watching the flames flicker in the stone gas fireplace. The kitchen is fully stocked and houses a table for two. Though a table is provided we recommend the deck table where you are surrounded by crisp mountain air and a 5 star view.

The expansive deck will inevitably become a favorite space for the two of you as you watch the view from the porch swing, with a morning cup of coffee, begin to transform as the hours pass and sunset falls. The hot tub is ready for you to relax and the view is unobstructed from any seat.

The stresses of the world are non-existent as you climb the stairs to your private escape. The two person Jacuzzi has a picture window that frames the view flawlessly and the king size bed provides a perfect vantage point as well. A full bath is available and a flat screen TV completes this retreat.

Our Getaway

My husband and I just needed a few days away from our world. We rented Sweet Surrender at first because of the swing and rockers on the front porch. It was everything we expected and more- charming, clean and relaxing. We loved the spa, jacuzzi and the bed was perfect. The decor is precious-country but not overdone. We skipped the tourist stuff and spent time in the mountains looking for waterfalls and enjoying the beautiful countryside. We definatly will be back, maybe to Sweet Surrender or maybe check out one of the other units. Want to bring the kids and grandkids back so will need a much larger unit this summer. Thanks to the owners and the company for such a nice unit and nice people working there.

We rented this cabin for our honeymoon and it was perfect. We were able to relax and enjoy being with each other after the busyness of the wedding. The cabin is cozy and the view is awesome :).

Sweet Surrender is a beautiful cabin with amazing views. we usually stay at Ever After but it was booked this year. we were not disappointed with Sweet Surrender. It is very comfortable and has everything you need for an unforgettable experience. We are very happy with Mountain Rentals and will continue to use your company for years to come!
