When you stay at this spacious 2 floor, 2 bedroom riverfront cabin you’ll meet the day with nature at your door and a river out your window!

This riverfront cabin is a source of year-round beauty, but the experience doesn’t stop there! Special touches abound in every quaint country corner of the home. You’ll appreciate the little details like the natural wood surfaces throughout the home, such as the walls and the vaulted ceiling supports. Don’t miss the beautiful hard oak flooring, which was completely hand made by a friend of the owner, who also crafted all the cabinets and doors through out the cabin. The kitchen is completely equipped with all that you will need to do any kind of cooking. There is a breakfast island with additional seating, perfect for taking your morning coffee. The dining room seats 6 at naturally finished hardwood dining table. The living room has plenty of furniture for everyone and a delightful gas fireplace. There’s also a TV with satellite and a VCR if you’re so inclined; if not, you might fancy stepping out onto the upper level deck. It’s a perfect spot for soaking up your seclusion.

Throughout the home a delightful apple theme is present, especially in the bedrooms.

The 2 bedrooms are on the lower level and are both equally delightful. Each features a full bath. The master bedroom has a king bed, Jacuzzi & TV, while the other has a queen size bed and laundry facilities tucked neatly away.. The first bedroom is decorated with a color scheme of powder blue and cream while the other features the colors of a country flower garden. Each has the feeling of harvest time at the local apple orchard. Both are equally spacious and equally lovely. In each there is direct access to the rear deck via the elegant French doors. Each level of the home has a back deck which looks out onto the nearby Little Pigeon River. Furnished with a hot tub, lounge furniture and hammocks, this is the perfect place to enjoy your surroundings. There’s even a gas grill to add to the fun.

If you’re overtired and need to get away, now is the perfect time to harvest the peace and relaxation of nature’s bounty

McIntoch RM#1 Review (Hebron, KY) - 11/29/2011

This is the third cabin I have rented through Mountain Rentals and like the previous this one delivered the goods. Good house for a good price and a great Thanksgiving holiday with my girlfriend and her family. The house was located next to the river in the woods and was a beautiful setting. I always try to have a vacation to Gatlinburg every year and I have become a loyal Mountain Rentals customer. I would recommend McIntoch to anyone with a family who needs a good house at a value.
