This Kear's family cabin can be your love nest for only the asking. Look at all it has to offer.

The Kear family built this cabin on their family ridge in order to share part of their Smoky Mountain heritage with everyone. From here almost the Tennessee side of the Smoky Mountains can be seen, stretching from Mount Cammerer in Cosby , TN to Mount Harrison (Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort)/ Cove Mountain in Gatlinburg , TN. No other homes are visible from this semi-private location yet its location on a main road makes for easy access. Outside you'll sense the idyllic location this authentic log home occupies: at once easily accessible and beautifully wooded. Inside you'll appreciate the added intimacy of the open floor plan and added charm of the naturally finished wood surfaces that extend from top to bottom. A vaulted ceiling lends a spacious feel to the living space. The home's deck is where you'll find the hot tub and a bevy of rocking chairs, perfect for partaking of spectacular views this home has to offer. Back inside, the home's king size bed awaits with a gas fireplace right at your feet. Nearby is the home's marbled Jacuzzi, a perfect spot for a soothing evening alone or with someone special. In between these two spaces is the sofa and TV which features satellite and has a VCR. In the rear of the home there is a fully furnished kitchen and a dining table perfect for 2. The home is serviced by a full bath with a stack washer/dryer for your convenience.

Absolutely loved Kear's Love Nest!

We would recommend this cabin to any couple looking for a quiet getaway. The deck and hot tub can't be seen from any road or other cabin, and the unobstructed view of the mountains is wonderful. The gravel road is steep, especially at the hairpin turn, but you're only on it for a very short distance; it's more of a long lane to the Love Nest. Less than ten minutes to downtown Gatlinburg, and only a couple of stoplights away from the arts and crafts eight-mile loop. Well worth the price.
