Description

Located in the Glades arts and crafts area of Gatlinburg, this cozy 1 bedroom chalet is the perfect spot to retreat from world or whisk away your loved one.

Despite its wooded surroundings, this chalet is only a 10 minute drive from downtown Gatlinburg. Truly the best of both worlds, you’ll have the perfect place to enjoy all your natural surrounds thanks to the home’s covered deck. But you’ll still have arts and crafts community as well as the rest of Gatlinburg at your fingertips. Beyond location, there’s a lot more to love about this chalet. On the front deck there’s a large 4-person hot tub to relax away your cares. There’s also a charcoal grill and a pair of rocking chairs. Back inside, the cabin’s main living area a vaulted ceiling and naturally finished wood surfaces perfectly matching your wooded surroundings. It even has an old-timey wood-burning heater that really works. Don’t worry. The central heating will keep you cozy while this relic from yesterday sets the mood. The living area is furnished with a comfortable sofa and cable TV, DVD and VCR while the adjoining kitchen is fully appointed. There’s even a pool table off to one side to add to the fun. Upstairs in the loft is the bedroom: a delightful spot complete with king size bed, Jacuzzi tub, and TV. Additionally, the home has 1 full bath and full washer/dryer access to add to your convenience.

For those looking for a well rounded Gatlinburg getaway with a little bit of everything, this chalet won’t disappoint.

Good Times with Mountain Rentals

My wife and I and our 15 month old daughter stayed in John David for our 4 year anniversary. I would have to say that it was a good time. I can see how some people say that the lighting is low but, we found it good lighting and not crazy bright. We enjoyed our stay and would stay with Mountain rentals again in the future. The only complaint I would have is that the hot tub was set at a low temp, that was not inviting for someone with the outside temp at 30. If you could change it, it would have been better and then we could of utilize the hot tub. Other than this, 2 thumbs up!
