Description

When you reach your journey's end you'll realize your heart has been there all along.

The country look begins with stacked log construction and red tin roof but extends through the entire home with simple touches like the bedspread made of 900 pieces of old blue jeans sewn together! You can count them yourself just to be sure! The front door opens into the living room of this tastefully designed cabin. The walls throughout are a naturally finished wood with carpeted floors. This space includes a gas fireplace and cable TV, VCR and DVD player. This extends into a fully furnished kitchen area with a dining table just right for 2. The adjoining room is the master bedroom. It is decorated with the aforementioned denim motif and has a king size bed in addition to a Jacuzzi, sink fixture, and the home's full bath. Out on the front deck you'll find deck furniture and a private hot tub as well as unmatched mountain views. At night you can admire the city lights of nearby Pigeon Forge and Sevierville. Also, be sure to enjoy the lovely patio garden, with wrought iron table and chairs, which is expertly landscaped and flows into the wooded surroundings. Keep in mind this home has no laundry facilities when planning your stay.

Located at the end of a private road, this mountain retreat could be just what you're looking for.

Spectacular Views

by from Alabaster, AL on 4/12/2012

A great cabin with spectacular views. Loved how the cabin was set so that it seemed secluded even though there were neighbors (but the neighbors were not “on top of” you). The landscaping was more than I expected and added to this. The driveway is very steep, but this is what gave the breathtaking views. The only real complaints were the bed was very “firm” (the cabin should have a more “plush” bed) and the grill was like you would find in a park and was situated across the parking pad from the cabin which made grilling after dark difficult. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, the fireplace and the views. Definitely a cabin we will remember for our next visit.

Response from Management - 4/16/2012

Thank you so much for your review and we are glad you enjoyed your stay. The grills cannot be on the decks per the Fire Marshall so some owners have chosen the park style grills for safety and compliance. Thank you for staying and we look forward to your next visit!

Awsome except

by from Covington, LA on 3/21/2012

I have stayed in other cabins owned by the same owner, they were excellent. This cabin overall was perfect. One major problem the hot tub kept me and the wife awake. The hot tub is to close to the bedroom. Every time the tub kicked on it vibrated the porch. I will stay at the other cabins but not this one. The views were awesome.

Response from Management - 3/22/2012

Thank you for taking time to review Journey's End. We are checking into the hot tub issue to see if anything can be done to reduce the noise level. Hot Tubs do run to keep the temperature ready for use and the placement can't be changed. We hope you visit soon and again, we appreciate your feedback.

awesome views

by from Odenville, AL on 1/5/2012

this cabin description is right on. while the driveway will give you heart palputations it is well worht the view.you can see the lights of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. OberGatlingburg is awesome at night when your siting in your hot tub on the front porch. the only negative i have is the hot tub motor is loudbut that hum will just lull you on to slep when time. if you like quite romantic moments with your spouse, this is the spot to be. it is secluded above the other cabinsyou cna see other cabins but you are very private and can have very romantic nights.

Nice Cabin, Nice Price

by from Metairie, LA on 11/28/2011

Great cabin for the price. Very secluded. It's at the top of a small mountain. Parking is not for the faint of heart; you have to make some very tight/inclined turns to reach the cabin. Dont use google map to find the unit, use the map that is provided by the company once you book the unit.
