Description

Making your way through the winding mountain roads of Gatlinburg, you'll be delightfully surprised at all the homes tucked into the mountainside. This charming 2 bedroom, 2 bath home, is located near Ober Gatlinburg Resort, and has partial views of downtown and the mountains.

Arriving at the home, you'll appreciate the lattice work that surrounds its base. Walking up the stairs, you might first choose to explore the front deck, which has both a gas and charcoal grill, a hot tub, and deck furniture for enjoying the mountain air. Stepping inside, you'll immediately notice the southwest decorations, which are a theme throughout the home. To the right is the kitchen, decorated in hot peppers, which is fully equipped to meet your stay-at-home cooking plans. There is a table for 4, and a door to the deck so you can easily bring in your grilled delicacies. To the left of the front door is the living room. Here you'll find a comfortable sofa and matching love seat in front of a wood-burning fireplace, TV with DVD & VCR and stereo system. Above the fireplace you can't miss the black bear skin. There are several board games here to ensure you don't get bored! Around the corner you'll find the washer & dryer. Next is the full bathroom for this floor with a whirlpool tub (no shower). This opens to the first floor bedroom, with a king-size bed, closets running the length of the wall, TV, and door to the front deck right by the hot tub.

The stairway leading off the living room takes you to the second level and right to thegame room complete with Air Hockey and Foosball. Next to that are two rooms that comprise the upper level bath-one has a sink and tub/shower, the other has a toilet and sink. Finally, the upper bedroom loft has a king-size bed, TV and large closet.

Long Weekend Escape

The home was everything pictured! The view, day and night, was wonderful! The driveway was certainly an adventure; however so are the mountain roads when you're that high up!! Our stay was very enjoyable from the extremely well stocked kitchen to the multi-cade in the game room (that was a nice surprise). I loved taking a trip down memory lane playing pac-man, centipede, frogger and more!! We loved the open concept of the home! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great Cabin!

The service was excellent. The cabin was amazing! The road and driveway to get to the cabin was a little steep and we thought it killed our car....take the 4x4 advice seriously!! Overall...a great cabin and a great weekend away! Thanks!

Weekend Getaway

The cabin was just as described and pictured on the website. Amenities were great from the hot tub, jacuzzis, well stocked kitchen, and the wood burning fireplace. No problems with the cabin at all. The drive up to the cabin is the tricky part. Definately need four wheel drive and chains if you are going in the winter with snow on the ground. The roads are very steep as well as the driveway. But that is the case with almost all of the cabins up this high in the mountains. The view of the valley below at night was really beautiful. We enjoyed our time and would recommend this cabin highly to others.
