Description

If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat and beautifully furnished comfort, this home is for you. This 1 bedroom chalet is picture perfect, inside and out.

As you arrive you’ll notice the log cabin look of the home, right down to the blue tin roof. You’ll also appreciate the picnic table located next to the driveway, perfect for enjoying your meals outdoors. Stepping inside, you’ll see that the log cabin walls match inside and out, giving the home a wonderfully rustic feeling. You never have to sacrifice comfort however, as this home’s furnishings prove.

The home has a separate kitchen area with elegant tile flooring. It’s fully furnished and there’s a dining table that seats 4; nearby is a private full bath and an optional guest room. The living room is carpeted and has a TV and VCR as well as wood burning fireplace in the corner. This space is particularly first-rate with its vaulted ceilings and patio door that leads to an enclosed hot tub area in the rear of the home. Over the living room is the loft where the master bedroom is located. This distinctive space features a king size bed, decorative antique wash basin and a stained glass rendering of Daniel Boone over the bed. In an adjoining room is a private full bath with a recessed Jacuzzi tub.

Wonderful Anniversary get away

This was our first trip to Gatlinburg and our first stay with MRG. The cabin was awesome! Everything was clean and ready when we showed up. The directions to get to the cabin were a little confusing but we were able to find it with no trouble. We both enjoyed the hot tub and just lounging around. We are already planning our next trip and will definitely rent from MRG again.

a disappointing valentine's getaway

i chose this cabin for my fiance and i because he is a combat wounded iraq vet and i thought the hot tub and jacuzzi tub would be wonderful for his back. we never got to use the hot tub because it was ice cold and would never warm up. it took nearly 20 minutes to get the water warm enough for a shower. the road to the cabin was terrible! i wanted to share my favorite vacation spot with my fiance since he has never been to Gatlinburg before...we were both very disappointed.

I am so sorry you were disappointed in your stay. Anytime you have problems please call and let us know so we may fix it. I will have Maintenance check it as well as the hot water heater. The roads are city maintained and some can be quite difficult. Again I apologize for the issues during your stay.

Wonderful place to stay for a weekend getaway

Was my first time renting from this company. Cabin was easy to find with the included directions. Cabin was clean and well maintained on the inside. One downside is the small TV in the living room, could definitely be upgraded, but honestly who is staying at a cabin for the electronics. Hot tub was in wonderful shape and was very warm for the 20 degree nights. Also being enclosed yet still outside was very enjoyable. Water pressure in the shower unit leaves a lot to be desired but overall wonderful cabin. Will definitely stay here again or at least use the same company. Great customer service and check in/out procedures. The ability to get my code ahead of time to get into my room without having to drive out of the way to the office first was a A+++++ feature!!!

Rest and Relaxation

Grassy Hideaway was just what we were looking for. The cabin was cozy, and provided everything we needed for a few days of desperatly needed rest and relaxtion. We loved the spacious hot tub area, and fireplace. It's a place to really get away from the hussle,and stress of the everyday grind. Thanks Mountain Rentals. Steve and Dorothy 11/15/11
