Description


Gatlinburg Overlook provides guests with the full mountain experience. The moment you arrive you will be awed by the view of the Smoky Mountain and welcomed by the warm log exterior with stone accents that fit perfectly in this log cabin community, located only 2 miles from downtown. You enter into the full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. The adjacent dining area provides ample space for family meals, while the warmth of the stone fireplace and view of the Smokies provides atmosphere that will rival any upscale restaurant. The living room has comfortable furniture that pairs well with the wood flooring and walls and has coziness to it though there are vaulted ceilings. The Master bedroom has a king bed with log frame, Jacuzzi and full bath with shower. There is deck access on the main level as well where you will enjoy views from rocking chairs that pair well with a glass of sweet tea.

Downstairs you will find the two additional bedrooms; one contains a king bed, Jacuzzi and bath while the other has 2 queen beds and a full bath. Both rooms are furnished with log décor. The game room has a pool table, love seat for enjoying movies or sports and a wet bar makes it convenient to keep snack and sodas at the ready. The lower deck has views of the Smokies, rockers and a hot tub.

Gatlinburg Overlook

Beautiful Cabin - LOTS of room, comfortable beds. We had teenagers so it was nice to have the extra beds, arcade and hot tub downstairs. We came in late on Friday so it was a little confusing to find - the road winds up, up, up - we were grateful for good weather - might have been tough in snow. We have rented three times and this was our favorite cabin.

New Year 2011/2012

Great cabin, loved being able to see the fireworks from the deck. A little disapointed the hot tub was just being refilled as we arrived and had to wait until the next day to use it. Cabins were a bit close and gave a feeling of overcrowding. We loved being so close to town that we could drop the kids off for them to do their 'thing'. We would most likely ask for this cabin again.
