Great house!

by from West Columbia, SC on 1/17/2012

Overall, it was a great experience. We called maintenance many times, and always got prompt and excellent service. He was very kind. They salted our driveway so we could get out and brought us firewood. When we didn't understand the hot tub, he came and explained it to us. The only negative things were: 1)That I had to call to get the directions and security code. 2)You definately need to post directions for the hot tub. 3)There were things that were broken when we got there, but they got fixed. 4)Provide detergent if guests have to launder the towels when they leave.

Response from Management - 1/17/2012

Thank you for taking time to write a review for Bear Necessities. I apologize for any maintenance issues you found and thank you for allowing us to correct them. The directions and code are emailed out prior to arrival, but we must have the paperwork returned before we send it out. Also, we do not want you to do towels before you leave (it's vacation!) please just place them in the bathroom prior to departure. We hope to see you soon!

We're coming back next year

by from powell, TN on 11/21/2011

My college friends have gotten together for 37 years now, always the week before Thanksgiving. This year we decided to rent a chalet in Gatlinburg. Everyone liked the house, the experience, so much they all want to come back again next year to the same house.
