Description

When you’re ready to get away from it all, this 1 bedroom cabin can be your Smoky Mountain retreat. Located less than a mile from Roaring Fork motor nature trail, this nicely wooded property is perfect for those seeking privacy.

It features a fully furnished kitchen with hanging cast iron pot and pan rack that creates wonderful country charm. Nearby is the half bath. The living room has a wood burning fireplace, sleeper sofa, pool table and an entertainment center with cable TV, VCR/DVD player and stereo with CD player all under a vaulted ceiling that creates the feeling of space. Patio doors open onto the deck complete with patio furniture and a charcoal grill.

Downstairs is the master bedroom featuring a king size bed and a den with sofa and second TV/VCR and stereo system. Double patio doors open onto the lower deck where you'll find the home's hot tub. There is also a full bath and a washer and dryer.

With the space of a 2 bedroom home, your escape here is guaranteed to be a comfortable experience. On your next vacation, enjoy unrivaled privacy in a blissful, natural setting.

Honeymoon

The cabin was beautiful, and the scenery was breathtaking. The driveway was a little scary, but worth it. Can't wait to go again!!!

Nice Getaway

We spent two nights as a getaway for our anniversary. The cabin was nice, although nothing grand. It was sufficiently clean and we could tell that the owners had done some work on the cabin (they detailed some of the work in the guest book). It is definitely not a top of the line cabin, but okay for a weekend away. The hot tub was very nice! One point...the driveway is very, very steep and you should definitely think twice about driving a large vehicle. We managed okay in our car (4-door, full size), but I would be a bit wary of driving a large pickup or SUV.

Hot tub heater not working when we arrive. MRG sent someone out quickly to fix this. After that the hot tub worked very well. It has high speed internet but it is not wireless. I think they should invest in a wireless router. Also I think a chair in the living room would be great if there is only a couch. overall everything worked out okay and we had everything we needed. I do think the place need some updates. We had a great trip to Gatlinburg and for staying with Mountain rentals Gatlinburg again!
