Description

Frontier charm and log cabin design are what makes this 3 bedroom home truly memorable.

Located on a beautifully wooded piece of property, this home still has a wonderful view of the surrounding Smoky Mountains. Outside, a covered wraparound deck flanks 3 sides of the home and has deck furniture and a charcoal grill at your disposal. When you’re finished admiring the view venture inside and enjoy the rustic décor of this cabin’s interior.

Throughout the home natural wood surfaces dominate, from the walls to the furnishings to the hardwood floors found upstairs and down. The kitchen and living room are nicely separated with a small foyer connecting them. In the living room you’ll find a stone constructed wood burning fireplace and a wraparound sofa with a TV and DVD player nearby. The home is cooled with a series of wall mounted A/C units and ceiling fans, like those found in this room. In the winter baseboard heating units keep you and your guests comfortable. In the kitchen you’ll find all the amenities you would want and counter tops finished in matching tile. The dining table is here with seating for 6 and the laundry facilities are close at hand, located in an adjoining room.

Also on the ground floor is the master bedroom. It has a queen size bed and a private full bath. The spacious room has its own sofa as well as a walk-in-closet. There is also access to the deck from here. Upstairs is where you find the last 2 bedrooms, each with sleeping accommodations for the larger family or a group outing. One has 2 twin beds and the other has 2 double beds; there is even a baby crib. The 2 bedrooms are connected by a hallway at the top of the stairs as well as through the upstairs full bath. This bathroom is designed with many guests in mind with the addition of 2 separate sinks.

If you are looking for a healthy dose of log cabin charm but need more space than they traditionally provide, this home is just the thing.

Please Note: If you have a car that sits low to the ground, your car may scrape the pavement.

We had a great time at the Witt's end! Just the driveway at first is challenging. I have a Honda Accord so we drugged up the driveway, after reading the guest book in the cabin we would get to the left of driveway and did not have problems. Great stocked kitchen and loved the fireplace!!
