Description

The first thing to catch your eye, after the authentic log cabin construction, will be the wood-burning fireplace that accents this cabin's spacious living room/dining room. This is combined with stained glass and hanging light fixtures to create a subdued atmosphere for this space. The strongest feature of this cabin is the mood it creates. Like all the homes in the Timberidge area, this fully restored, fully original log home is the ideal setting for a true mountain getaway. This feeling extends to the main level bedroom, where a Queen sized bed and private bath await. The Jacuzzi room makes this level a romantic retreat. To maximize the outdoor space the deck features antique décor, rockers and a porch swing in a fabulous wooded setting.

Upstairs, a second bedroom provides space for the entire family, while the additional fireplace adds warmth and ambiance. There is also a full bath on this level for convenience. This home provides an enticing blend of frontier charm and contemporary comfort.

Jake's Run is an absolutely beautiful cabin. Everything about this cabin is fabulous! Secluded and peaceful, wonderful porch overlooking a wooded area. The decor in this cabin is perfect. Love Mountain Rentals, great service and great prices.

We were truly impressed with this cabin. The authentic look, the lovely country and cabin decor (bears, fish, antiques, rugs, quilts), and the beautiful stone wood burning fireplace(which they even supply wood for). The upstairs was a gorgeous master bedroom basically the size of the first floor with full bath and TV. Overall just beautiful. The only thing I would add if possible is Wifi and an upgraded TV in the living room for comfy movies in front of the fireplace but this is minimal compared to the beauty of this place. We'll be back! Thanks again.
