Description

When you think of Southern – what do you think about? Sitting on your front porch, sipping fresh squeezed lemonade or sweet tea, listening to the creek babble and watching fireflies after the sun shines its last rays of the evening…

Simply Southern is a one bedroom cabin located in a beautifully wooded area just on the edge of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, but it still has easy access to all of Gatlinburg’s attractions. Leave your car parked, as the heart of downtown, as well as a trolley stop, is less than a ½ mile away!

The cabin is constructed of naturally finished logs and the same style continues inside with hardwood flooring and naturally finished wood surfaces both upstairs and down. You’ll enter in the home’s recreation area, complete with a pool table and access to the home’s ½ bath with full laundry. The downstairs is a very open living space with a high vaulted ceiling. The kitchen is fully equipped to dine in if you so desire. The living room is furnished with a sleeper sofa placed right in front of a gas fireplace. Above the fireplace is a large flat panel LCD TV and DVD player. From the living room, walk outside on the deck and enjoy the hot tub and soothing sounds of a nearby stream. A charcoal grill is also available for cooking out and enjoying an evening in… Upstairs in the loft bedroom, there is a massive aspen king size bed and Jacuzzi for two for a romantic evening. There is a second flat panel LCD TV here along with a full bath off to the side.

Simply Southern = simply awesome (Louisville, KY) - 12/31/2011

The cabin location is outstanding! I have stayed in many cabins many times just to drive 20 minutes up a hill to look at a side of a hill. Simply Southern is less than a minute from the strip right behind the smokey mountain brewery. Inside was very clean and very nice. I will be staying in this cabin again

Weekend Getaway (Hendersonville, TN) - 12/19/2011

A great little hideaway for a honeymoon or weekend getaway. If you like being close to downtown Gatlinburg, but also like the feel of being secluded, this is the perfect place. Just up the hill from the best restaurant in town, The Park Grill, and close to Ski Mountain Road to get to Ober Gatlinburg. The only thing missing was the snow!

Great experience! (prairieville, LA) - 12/8/2011

This was our second vacation in Gatlinburg. Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg was great both times. You can't go wrong with them. The first trip we had a small issue with the hot tub which was corrected immediately. Great staff, great cabins, great value. What else can I say!
