"Honeymooner's Dream S443" Log Cabin in Wiley Oakley, Gatlinburg

The cabin was great, good location, private-set back off the road and away from other houses. The mattress leaves some to be desired-very hard. We also had some issues with the hot tub shorting out where it wouldn't turn on one time and off another, temp was also hard to regulate since control panel wasn't working properly, was handled in a timely manner by maintenance, but was still just a hassle to deal with. Overall a very nice rental!

We spent 3 nights in this Beautiful Chalet. It was a wonderful rental unit. Huge Jacuzzi Tub, Beautiful Decks, Hot Tub, etc. Cabin is exactly as pictured. The only drawbacks that we found is that the bathroom is not seperated by a door from the bedroom but is instead wide open so therefore no privacy while using the bathroom at night etc. However there is a small room with a commode only upstairs for privacy. The second thing was that the Mountain Rental Unit Sign was not labeled. In other words the Chalet Name was not on the sign at the foot of the driveway which made it somewhat difficult to locate the correct chalet. We tried several driveways before locating the correct chalet. Also, there were only a few channels available on the television service with this particular chatlet, a mid size television and dvd player in the living room and a very small television in the bedroom. Definitely would be greatly improved with Satelitte TV service and larger televisions and dvd players in both living room and bedroom. Outside of these three small drawbacks this was wonderful lodging. The Air Conditioning and Heating Unit worked perfectly. It was easy to keep the chalet at a perfect temperature at all times. It wasn't cold enough for us to try out the Gas Fireplace. I would highly recommend this as a rental for your getaway. Perfect for two but also roomy enough for 4. Also, I would like to thank the kind and curteous staff at Mountain Chalet Rentals. I found each and every one of them to be extremely nice and helpful. I will always have wonderful memorys of the 3 nights that we spent at Honeymooner's Dream.

this was a great cabin. lots of privacy, not far from town, a great experience. it was all with out complaints except the large king size bed...very uncomfortable.
