About "Kear's Love Nest" Gatlinburg Log Cabin

This Kear's family cabin can be your love nest for only the asking. Look at all it has to offer.

The Kear family built this cabin on their family ridge in order to share part of their Smoky Mountain heritage with everyone. From here almost the Tennessee side of the Smoky Mountains can be seen, stretching from Mount Cammerer in Cosby , TN to Mount Harrison (Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort)/ Cove Mountain in Gatlinburg , TN. No other homes are visible from this semi-private location yet its location on a main road makes for easy access. Outside you'll sense the idyllic location this authentic log home occupies: at once easily accessible and beautifully wooded. Inside you'll appreciate the added intimacy of the open floor plan and added charm of the naturally finished wood surfaces that extend from top to bottom. A vaulted ceiling lends a spacious feel to the living space. The home's deck is where you'll find the hot tub and a bevy of rocking chairs, perfect for partaking of spectacular views this home has to offer. Back inside, the home's king size bed awaits with a gas fireplace right at your feet. Nearby is the home's marbled Jacuzzi, a perfect spot for a soothing evening alone or with someone special. In between these two spaces is the sofa and TV which features satellite and has a VCR. In the rear of the home there is a fully furnished kitchen and a dining table perfect for 2. The home is serviced by a full bath with a stack washer/dryer for your convenience.

Your love nest is only a call away. Come experience what the romance of a mountain getaway can be.

Great Place to stay

by from New Haven, MO on 10/6/2015

Have stayed in this same cabin before was great then & was this time. Had trouble with toilet-called maintenance was there to fix it in less than an hour. Also heating unit in hot tub was out-maintenance fixed it in a couple hours. View was Great! The only thing I would change would be it needs a bigger shower. Tall people would have alot of trouble using it. So would a heavy set person. Other wise the kitchen & living quarters were great. Comfy bed. Heart shaped jacuzzi bath tub was a plus. The unit could use a new & improved bbq grill outside otherwise cooking utensils were ok. It was Wonderful just rocking in the chairs on the back deck drinking our morning coffee & praising God for the BEAUTIFUL view!!

Perfect Little Getaway

by from Independence, KY on 9/16/2015

This is a perfect little getaway. Very clean. Nicely decorated. The view was awesome. Gorgeous sunsets. It was very quiet when the nearby dogs weren't barking. (Dogs barking is the only bad thing I have to say about our trip.) We recommend anyone wanting a little cabin to check this place out!! ♥

Love nest indeed!

by from Ellettsville, IN on 4/27/2015

This was our second stay in the Love Nest, and it was great. The hot tub and deck can't be seen from any nearby cabin or road, and that privacy combined with the stellar view of Mt. LeConte is perfect. The only problem we had was that the blower on the hot tub is hooked into the Light switch, not the Blower switch. Once we figured that out, the rest of the week went very smoothly. The cabin is only five minutes from Gatlinburg, and yet you don't get any of the city hustle and bustle. The check-in and -out process is wonderfully easy and quick. We will certainly be back at the Love Nest when it's just the two of us, and will look at Mountain Rentals for any larger groups we bring to the Smokies.

Breathtaking view!

by from BESSEMER, AL, AL on 4/21/2015

The cabin is perfectly situated and has a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains. It snowed while we were there and the mountains covered in snow was a mesmerizing sight. Love this cabin and will definitely stay in it again!
