The cabin was absolutely perfect. It exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was very well equipped. We found the bed very comfortable. The jacuzzi was perfect, and the hot tub was relatively secluded. The pool table wasn't quite level, but it was still nice to use. The driveway is very steep, but we had no problems with our jeep. The clubhouse was very close to the cabin, and it was nice to have access to it. We would definitely return to this cabin.

We would like to start out by saying we have been staying with Mountain Rental since 1999, and we love renting from them, they are so helpful and very kind. We stayed at Forget Me Not and we loved it, It was so beautiful and very well decorated, we stayed 10 days and we were still fascinated by the decorations on the day we were leaving. Please let the owner no that they have a beautiful place. If anyone is thinking about renting this unit it is a wonderful chose the only draw back is the mountain that you have to go up to get to the unit and it has a very steep drive way. The house it self has everything you could possibly need, the beds are very hard but is so clean and very beautiful that you forgot those things , it has a very big hot tub outside that felt good after a day of running around.I would have to say this has been the best vacation ever. Looking forward to many more. Would like to thank Mountain Rental and the staff once more for a wonderful vacation.

Forget Me Not Cabin is very beautiful and well kept up. This will be the most unforgettable vacation ever. Everything in the cabin was perfect. Although it has only two b/r, up to six people could stay and be comfy. Well worth the price!!!

“Forget Me Not” is a great cabin and is located in a great place right outside Gatlinburg off the road to Pigeon Forge! Since it is near the Gatlinburg Welcome Center and the Trolley Stop, we made use of the day-pass they now offer. This was terrific because we didn’t have to “fight” traffic and find as well as pay for parking when we spent the day in town. This cabin has plenty of space and a comfortable sitting in the living area, something that some of the other cabins with more bedrooms that we have rented in the past seem to lack. The half bath with the washer and dryer off this area was useful. The combo pool/air hockey table does take up a good portion of living and dining space. Since we had such good weather, we didn’t have time to use it. For our use we would have preferred the extra space in the living and dining areas than have the game table. If we had bad weather, we may have felt differently! Since my son is taking a few courses this summer online and my husband and I needed to stay in touch with our work, the internet was a must. We brought our wireless modem so we all were able to use our laptops whenever necessary. The kitchen is well stocked. We cooked breakfast and dinner there just about every day and we never lacked for any small appliances or dishes we needed. There are even enough dishes to prepare all meals for the day without having to wash dishes between meals! The two master bedroom suites, one on each end of the cabin, made it the perfect cabin for us. Unfortunately, the beds are hard and not real comfortable. There is plenty of closet space in both suites. The deck with the hot tub was fantastic. We did not use the indoor Jacuzzi because we had such good weather that the large hot tub was the perfect place to relax. We grilled and ate out several times and used the hot tub most every evening. The driveway entrance has tight turn off the road and is steep but the parking area is nice and level with space to turn around. I would beware of the drive to the cabin and the driveway in bad weather. We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin has few negatives – steep and curvy road to the cabin, steep drive with hard turn, crowded living-dining area due to the game table, hard beds – with plenty of positives to overlook those. After renting many other cabins in Gatlinburg throughout the last 20 years, this is one we will likely rent again!

My husband and I have been renting cabins in the Gatlinburg area for the past 10yrs. This was our first time with Mountain Rentals. Directions to the office were clear and we found it with no problem. Check-in was a breeze. Map to our chalet was easy to follow. The chalet itself - first the driveway is very steep! It wasn't a problem for us in a 4wheel drive, but some smaller vehicles may have a problem. The chalet itself is one floor and very open. Bedrooms are at seperate ends with kitchen/dining/living rooms in between. Plenty of closet space, large bathrooms. The indoor jacuzzi tub is BIG! Two adults fit comfortably with room to spare. The combo pool/air hockey table is a lot of fun. The kitchen had plenty of room and utensils and there is a charcoal grill on the deck. We also made use of the large hot tub on the deck. I'm guessing it was an 8person hot tub? Perfect temp and clean. There is also washer/dryer in the chalet, old but worked just fine. We had no problems with the AC. The week we were here, it stormed almost every afternoon and knocked out the internet service. All that was needed was to reset the modem, which was locked in a closet. We were afraid we would have to wait until the next business day to have someone come out and reset it but called the emergency line anyway. A maintenance man was there in 40min and fixed it with a smile! Two drawbacks from our stay - while the TV is a nice LCD, it does not support using a PS3 on it. (my husbands area, he said its the brand of TV not a problem with this specific unit). Finally, the beds. Though large and nicely decorated my husband and I both found the beds extremely hard. Yes, this is personal preference and some may love the beds. but if you are used to a pillowtop or similar type softness, you will not be able to rest in these beds. All in all, we did love this chalet and are considering bringing our 3 kids back here in the fall.
