Unexpectedly springing forth amidst the usual log cabins and contemporary townhouses, this unique Victorian styled chalet is perfect for those wanting a Smoky Mountain vacation with a unique twist.
The distinctive flair of this home extends beyond the striking exterior; the home’s floor plan and furnishings all evoke a feeling of centuries past. Upon entering you’ll immediately notice the elegant hardwood floors that extend throughout the downstairs and the gently sloping arched entryways. All the rooms of the home feature multiple windows providing plenty of natural as well as artificial light. The downstairs also has a half bath for your convenience. Past the front door the foyer branches off to the right into the living room which is furnished a circular sofa and lounge chairs in deep reds and greens. The room centers around the gas fireplace but there’s also a TV with cable access and DVD/VCR provided for your entertainment. Branching off to the left is the circular dining room with wicker chairs and chandelier light fixture. From here the fully furnished kitchen is accessible and you’ll find it has plenty of space for whipping up anything from a snack to a three course meal.
Upstairs you’ll find the home’s bedrooms, both equally elegant and spacious. The master bedroom features a pale blue décor and has a king size bed, gas fireplace and a private full bath (shower only). The second bedroom is accented in a delightful springtime pink and features a queen size bed and private full bath. Both bedrooms are fully carpeted and have a distinctive circular design with lofty vaulted ceilings. Especially noteworthy is the separate Jacuzzi tub that is accessible from each bedroom. The home enjoys exquisite views of the Smoky Mountains which can be enjoyed from the miniature deck that stretched around the side of the home or either bedroom thanks to the ample windows.
A treat both inside and out, this home is only 3 miles away from Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort and less than 5 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Those seeking a break from the usual will find this home “towers” over the rest.
