Nature surrounds you in this spacious 2 bedroom cabin, replete with loads of country charm and the Little Pigeon River at your doorstep.
Everywhere you look you will see unique items relating to the mountains. Entering the front door you’ll notice the mountain theme is carried throughout the cabin from the bear wall lamp to the printed deer head rugs on the kitchen and dinning room floors. The living room has plenty of furniture for everyone and a delightful gas fireplace. There’s also a TV and VCR if you’re so inclined.
The natural wood surfaces throughout the home, the walls and the vaulted ceiling supports, bring a crisp, clean feeling of nature into the home. Don’t miss the beautiful hard oak flooring. Completely hand made by a friend of the owner, he also hand made all the cabinets and doors through out the cabin. The kitchen is completely equipped with all that you will need to do any kind of cooking. There is a breakfast island between the kitchen and very large and beautiful dinning room.
The bedrooms in this cabin are very special. One features a king size bed and TV, the other 2 twins and all the bedroom furniture has been specially hand made by a local artisan, a very rustic look. Along with having a whirlpool tub and private bathroom for each bedroom, they have their own theme. The master bedroom has moose décor with wallpaper and art from top to bottom. A warm comforter covers the king size bed with trees, cabins and bears. The second bedroom’s theme is fresh water fishing. Rods and reels decorate the walls for an authentic hunting lodge flavor. This bedroom has twin beds with authentic Swiss army blankets with the enlisted man’s name still attached. The wallpaper in this bedroom reflects the fishing theme along with many antique fishing items on the walls and a shelf over the beds. Each bedroom has access to the rear deck which comes furnished with rocking chairs and porch swing for lazing away the after noon. Each level has a deck and there’s even a gas grill at your disposal! What better way to enjoy the quiet river that flows only a few yards away.
