This charming log and stone cabin is conveniently located close to downtown Gatlinburg with a paved drive and ample parking. This home has no stairs and there is a covered carport for easy entry in all weather. The laundry facility is located in a room off the carport.
Upon entering the home into the kitchen you will find a welcoming country blue color and beautiful tile floors that spill over into the rest of the home. This kitchen features a large bar area with slate tile that seats 5 and striking rustic cabinets that fit perfectly into this mountain retreat. The adjacent living room has a large brick wood-burning fireplace that creates a comfy atmosphere, a plush Victorian style couch and extra chair. A small coffee table, TV and CD player complete this room. Heading through the arched doorway you will find the game room that has it all! The pool table is the focus of this room, but not the feature. There is a perfectly placed rustic rocker for reading one of the many books, a TV, DVD player and a table for 4 in the corner with enough board games to occupy you for hours! This room features large windows taking up an entire wall and French doors that show off the beautiful winter view. The French doors lead you to a river stone lined patio that feels like “heaven”. There is an outdoor fire pit that is perfect when you find yourself cooking on the charcoal grill on those frosty winter nights. After dinner take a dip in the hot tub or relax with a cup of hot chocolate on the outdoor patio set.
Back inside down the hallway you will find a linen closet with an iron/ironing board. The full bath is on the left with an endearing garden theme and large vanity. Across the hall is the 1st bedroom with an Americana theme and warm colors. This nice sized bedroom has ample closet space, TV and alarm clock. The deep red window treatment and “stars & stripes” quilt on the queen size bed round out this room. Entering the 2nd bedroom you notice the sheer blue curtains that flow flawlessly with the room creating a welcoming retreat. The queen size bed, antique looking quilt and TV provide the perfect place to relax after a busy day. The master bedroom done in the country blue provides “country romance” with hard wood floors and a king size bed with an antiqued wooden frame. The lush linens will keep you here long after the coffee is ready! This room has a TV and a private bath. The bath has a stand-up shower, small vanity and rich wood walls.
